Wonderful owners! They are always so helpful. I come here all the time, and o pick up my parcels. The reviews below are ridiculous, and probably didn't bring their ID but lying that they did. These shopkeepers are the most friendly and kind souls. They are constantly chatting to me and other customers, friendly service always!

Very friendly and sociable people. The most friendly shop keepers in Forest Gate! I visit twice a week for the parcel service. Unlike other reviewers I do not blame them for earning a living from a perfectly legitimate service that nobody else in the area provides. Printing postage labels is not their main business. They have to pay to rent the machine etc so buy your own printer if you object to paying for a return label. Amazon supply them for free. You just need to buy a £29 printer. As for them asking for your ID. Go and try collecting your parcel from Royal Mail without ID! They will not give it to you. Do you really expect them to give out parcels without taking ID first? Who do you think is responsible if they give it to the wrong person! As for the review about the cat and mouse well that is ridiculous. I have never seen a mouse in there and the cat is clean and friendly and the shop doesn't smell at all. The 1 star reviewers should be ashamed of themselves.

I use this shop a lot for parcel pick ups and returns. I had an issue once that was quickly resolved by the lady working in the shop. The owners are very friendly, helpful and always chat away. Great service!

I had a very poor experience that ended in an argument when trying to collect my 13 yr old daughters UPS parcel. The patrons would not let the parcel go without photo ID for myself and my daughter I explained that my daughter did not have photo ID but had other forms of ID and that I had Photo ID and I was her guardian, but was told this was not good enough and they would need to send parcel back then. The shop keeper told me I should not have let my daughter buy the item "what a cheek! it was bought with her Christmas present money on her go Henry card yes in her own name that is perfectly legitimate.

Never open when they're supposed to be. If your parcel gets dropped off here you might as well consider it lost

Very bad customer service. If you need to collect a parcel make sure you bring your passport, your proof of citizenship, you mum, your dad, your mums passport, your dads passport, your driving lisence. Even if you bring all of these proof of identification, please note they still might require more id. I never had such hatred towards anyone as much as I do towards the shop owners.

Very bad experience. When I went to my parcel the lady at the shop didn’t let me collect my parcel even when I showed her the email and the parcel was returned to Hermes. Waste of time. They don’t follow the times they have uploaded on google. Most of the times I went the shop was closed. I wish Hermes point changes there spot to some other shop at Dames road

Illegally charged me 50p for “printing a receipt and label” to return a parcel to Amazon, and were very reluctant to print me a receipt for the charge. Okay, its only 50p but if they get away with 50p today it’ll be £5 next year! Amazon not best pleased. Ive also posted on our Next Door website to advise neighbours to avoid this returns point. I wonder how else they’re ripping off their customers?

Illegal charges - I've used this store multiple times for collections of parcels and sometimes topping up but noticed they charge for top up regardless of how big or small. I have noticed quite a lot of places that do this now and it's not fair on customers. Topping up gas and electric should be a free service because that money is going to your gas or electric. I feel bad for people who have been charged and are on low incomes. If you go to stores that charge you a fee report them because it is illegal and goes in their pocket for anyone who needs somewhere to top up davina supermarket on Upton Lane will top up any amounts without charging you.

Charges to drop off free returns. I always buy something when using parcel services but don’t enjoy being forced to pay for what is supposed to be a free service.

Rubbish Dodgy service. The women shop owner is very rude. She was trying to call the police for know reason.
