M&S Foodhall

this past weekend I was back to my old habits and picked up a Strawberry Trifle on the way home from work

I was delighted to see the price has been ‘Dropped and Locked’ and the trifle was successfully polished off at home

Usually I’ll finish it off in one sitting (despite the packaging insisting it serves 4) but this weekend I decided to have half on Saturday (whilst watching the England game) and then finished it off on Sunday Evening.

don’t get me started on the biscuits!

Brilliant. The only place where I can buy bras with non slip straps! The staff were extremely helpful, taking me to the section I needed. Fitting room was clean and spacious. Sales staff, Vicky, was lovely. Thank you!

Very busy as it was Christmas period. Managed to get what I wanted.

Just love this store, everyone is friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

The staff always greet you politely, and as you frequent it more get to know you personally.

Ellorra is typical of the staff in the store, as she is always smiling, says hello, and cannot help you enough if there’s something you require.

Great place to shop, quality products at a competitive price, plus there is a very good choice of clothing for men, women and children.

A wonderful friend gave me a me a m and s gift voucher for my BIG birthday and the marvellous friend I stayed with took me into city to spend it. What a lovely branch it is. Very helpful staff, vast array of lovely clothes many in the sale, a coffee shop for a delicious coffee and a sit down and I got a gorgeous "very me" sparkly jumper that I'll enjoy for years. Thank you m and s.

Love this shop. If you like your quality and flavours, this is the place. Their ready made prawn cocktail is a fave. Recommend the coffee ice cream too. I bought my turkey crown, luxury gravy and sprouts etc for last Christmas, and weren't disappointed. Look forward to the new Food Hall opening on old Britvic site before Christmas too.

I was served by Helen today, she was a total gem.
My daughter didn't have any shoes that fit her so popped in to see if we could get some. They were upstairs but Helen asked what we were looking for and brought down a few pairs to try. Managed to get a lovely pair of sandals.

M&S food hall was nice to walk round today. The staff were very friendly and helpful when I enquired about a product I couldn't find. Other products I purchased were easy to find. I usually have problems with self service, not today. A pleasure to shop in M&S.

Marks and Spencers in Chelmsford is a very friendly shop which ever department you use. Staff always helpful with a smile. Their food range is very good special offers valour something for everyone. My favourite Chochally chocolate biscuits. Thanks Marks see you next week try it yourselves

My experience today was top class. The cashier made sure I got the 20% off deal although it should have already finished. I saved £10 on my M and S pants and then got a further money off voucher for the food court

Popped in here to pick up the ordered turkey, ham, and Christmas pudding. Staff were very organised and helpful. My girlfriend took the opportunity to do some clothes shopping so not the quick in and out I expected but hey ho its Christmas.

I want to thank Stephen Young the manager for sorting out my problem and rectifying it. He was pleasant, polite and very very helpful. He is a credit to this store.

Prices are little bit on the high side with the quality certainly outweighs the expenditure
One of the best things about the shopping hall is absolutely no music the ability to hear yourself think workout unit prices and talk to the person is worth any slight price increase

This is a smaller sized department store compared to the Debenhams across the street but it's superior in what it offers.

Based on 2 floors which is mainly selling an extensive range of clothes for all sizes. Always clean and well presented which you would expect from M&S.

This store also hosts a cafe on the upper floor which can be reached by stairs or lifts for the disabled, never had a bad service and reasonably priced too!

And lastly my favourite, the not so mini mart which takes up half of the ground floor and has anything & everything most people could need or want when it comes to food or drink although I do find it a bit more expensive than most other food shops, but otherwise I think it's a good store!

Large store with a good sized food area and a cafe upstairs, all that you mentally expect from a m&s, helpfull friendly staff, tidy, and efficient. In warmer summer days it's THE walkthrough to the high street because the Aircon is never wrongly set.

The stores café is now open and had a nice breakfast there, toast and jam with a filtered coffee. Very reasonable price and staff serving were superb.

Love the food! As long as your willing to pay the extra, M&S definately deliver on quality. And their vast range of delicious foods to pick from, makes my number 1 stop for party/occassion foods M&S.

Plant kitchen is my favourite section in there. Great selection of vegan food! Can't wait to see more vegan food in the bakery section and cakes.

The bread department gets my vote. Freshly baked or off the shelf. Worth paying that bit extra. Used to go to poundland but not any more. 😀
