The Croft Restaurant

We had planned to eat at another restaurant in town but found there was no table available and it struck us as a bit trendy for us anyway. So we walked to The Black Watch and enjoyed a delicious meal in the Croft Restaurant. We were seated quickly and two staff members took care of our drink and food needs. As the place filled up, those who did not have reservations were treated politely and told they could go to the pub next door to wait for a table to open--while that sounds like a normal response, we found many places in Scotland just turned people away. My steak and ale pie was savory and served with fresh vegetables as well as the chips. My husband said his macaroni and cheese was very good, as well. After dinner we stopped into the pub for a drink and the bartender was quite friendly. It was a pleasant atmosphere and everyone was nice.

Great food and great staff. Food was amazing and plenty of it. Food was very hot and tasty. Staff, especially Toni was very friendly and helpful. Will be going back whilst here on holiday.

Very accommodating and staff had an excellent sense of humour. Provided us with table service and excellent food. Beer garden in particular was nice.

A real pub! Great beer selection - not huge, but has a few local options. The gin selection is brilliant, and I noticed that the whiskies, while not the biggest selection I've seen, have been chosen to give good breadth across all styles. Decent prices and 35ml measures. Friendly staff.

Amazing place!!
We were in for a meal last night, the food was great! Popped into the bar tonight. The gent who was working was lovely, made us feel so welcome! We will definitely be back Next time we are here!!x

Lovely staff, Nice environment, nice selection of beers too. Oh yeh and the STEAK! OH MY GOD THE STEAK!

Had the surf and turf, Sublime. Not to bad on the pocket either. Highly recommended if you are in Aberfeldy.

A lovely welcome from staff and food plentiful

I took my elderly parents for lunch. Dad was ex Black Watch and he is 90 now and I wanted him to visit Aberfeldy, the monument and the restaurant. . a brill day out

We had a great meal here in September when both my husband and I had a short break in Aberfeldy. This weekend a party of us were staying in Moness and I recommended we went to The Black Watch Inn for dinner. We weren't disappointed. Meal was great and staff so intentive. Chef even served up a lovely vegetarian meal for one of our friends. Would recommend eating here.

Great food, reasonable prices, had the fish and chips and it was just the right size of portion and the sticky toffee pudding was great!

Stopped for lunch on a Sunday. Food was priced well and came quickly. Piping hot and tasty jalapeno poppers were my favourite.

Good place for a couple of drinks. Food looked really good however I didn't eat there. Really comes alive on a Saturday night we there is live music.... was much fun great atmosphere 🙂🕺🕺
