Cute little shop with the loveliest father & son duo!
Coffee was piping hot, appreciated that!
We also got a quiche to takeaway and it made a beautiful little dinner. I got the brie and cranberry, 10/10 delicious!

I would move here for their mushroom quiche. It tastes like what dreams are made of. When I finish eating it, I look sadly down at my plate because I already miss it. The crunchy crust, mushrooms and feather light egg are made perfectly. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

The best cafe ever! Cakes are amazing and so are the sandwiches / paninis. I'd drive the 70 miles from home just to come for the food!

Popped in to the Tay Cafe for a bite to eat while doing a cycling loop from Pitlochry. We had planned to go to habitat, but it was closed and ended going to the Tay cafe on a whim.

The carrot and lentil soup was delicious, flat white - the perfect balance between frothy milk and hot milk. Oh, and the tray bakes were as delicious as they looked.

Definitely recommend if you are looking for a quick lunch if you are in Aberfeldy.

Friendly and helpful staff, wife and enjoyed superb pulled pork ciabatta & cajun chicken mezzaluna, followed by two of the tastiest traybakes you could wish for. A real gem of a place in bonnie Aberfeldy

We went for a cooked breakfast and had both the vegetarian and meat versions. Both were excellent! I have never seen a breakfast so artistically arranged on the plate and the vegetarian option was superb. The sausages were home made (or locally sourced as we've never had sausages like those before) and the vegetarian haggis was absolutely delicious. The place was packed out and I can see why!

Dropped by for lunch and was very surprised by the excellent quality of food and great value for money. I had the quiche which came with proper chips salad and coleslaw, and also a wonderful mushroom soup with halloumi and humus sandwich. Everything homemade. Other dishes coming out looked fabulous too, dog friendly aswell. Highly recommended. Thank you we'll be back.

Popped In for lunch on Mon 16th March. Pleasantly surprised. My husband had the Cullen Skink soup and said it was the best he had tasted, I had a Hot dog. Said no chips please, good job I did, as the hot dog was humongous. With all the trimmings. Excellent, not easy to eat but delicious. Will definitely be back if we are in the vicinity again. Top marks to a lovely couple. The home made Quiches looked delightful so that’s for another time.

Nothing but positive things to say!

I have been here every day since we came to Aberfeldy.
And it is the best place to eat and/or have a coffee.

Food is great, and Anna is the best person to be around. Smiling, being friendly and professional.

It is a cozy place, and a great atmosphere.
They offer take away which is nice if there isn't any room to sit.

We are definitely going back today and all the days we spend in Aberfeldy!

This is a must visit when in town!

Visited this place two days running and both days had soup and panini. The soup was fantastic, slightly spicy Nacho soup. The paninis were also amazing both days, all freshly prepared and stuffed with delicious fillings. Pretty much everything on the menu looked great so I'll be back to try more. Wonderful little place for lunch, tea or coffee. It's quite wee though so you may struggle to get a seat during busy times.

Really excellent food - we got Scottish breakfasts and a scone to take away. There was a lot of eating in them so we did struggle towards the end! Friendly staff. Will come back next time I'm in Aberfeldy

This is now called The Tay and is run by a very friendly husband and wife team. He is a trained chef and it shows...the fish and chips are absolutely the best in this area. My partner's other favourite is their coronation chicken.....good value for money and lovely food. Well worth a visit.
