We had the most amazing room with a beach view which was stunning. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the hotel but the food was a bit of a letdown. It was warm and the meat in the main course rather dry. However this has not put us off wanting to return. Last sitting for breakfast was 9am which I felt was rather early. Perhaps a later time would be better and you're not feeling rushed to get up.

Wonderful hotel with nice rooms (we had one with an amazing sea view) and incredibly friendly staff. We also loved our dinner at the restaurant. What a gem of a place!

Went for dinner over the Christmas holidays: great location; lovely inside; professional and friendly staff; great food. What's not to like?
On the basis of our splendid dinner experience, we're now considering going to stay for a weekend.

I absolutely loved this hotel! It was -10 outside and walking in to a blazing log fire and winding down with a nice beer or two was comforting! The food, although very posh and slightly more than affordable on my company's budget was delicious! My room was comfortable and warm considering the outside temperature! I recommend this hotel for explorers and grafters!

We went for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. Black pudding starter was delicious as was the beef roast. Beautiful views over the solway even on a rainy day. Cosy seating in the bar area with the fire. Will definitely be back.

Went for breakfast when staying with friends in Annan because they knew the hotel did gluten free bacon rolls and I am Coeliac. I wish I'd asked where they got the rolls from; more like a brioche but still delicious. Definitely want to go back next time I'm in the area.

We always try to visit when we are here visiting our family and have never been disappointed. We've eaten in the restaurant many times (also when it was "just" Del Amitri, in Annan). We have also stayed in the past. Today, we treated my recently widowed mother to afternoon tea and it was perfect. Welcoming and attentive (without being over the top). My mum really enjoyed herself and it was lovely to see her smiling face clutching her doggy bag. Thank you for yet another relaxing foodie treat - the baking gets better and better. Steph & Rob

Love going to this place! We frequently call in for a coffee when walking our dogs on the beach. We also go for Sunday lunch....everytime we go we love it. The service is excellent, the coffee to die for and the food is absolutely wonderful. Its all about quality and taste which you certainly get! Perfectly cooked and well presented and also great value for money. The surroundings and atmosphere just tops it off with beautiful views too! Well done to all of you; you do a fantastic job. Keep it up! We will of course be back very soon. 😁

This was an outstanding find. The room was comfortable and well set out. There were also plenty of lounge chairs in the open area between the bar and dining room affording a gradually changing view of the tides in the firth.
Breakfast was excellent with a good range of choices all well presented by cheerful and efficient staff. Evening meals were also available. The choice was varied, interesting and well presented.

This was a lovely stay. We had dinner on 3 nights, and each was excellent quality, and served by helpful, friendly, and efficient staff. We thought it was very good value. Breakfast, similarly, was of a high standard, including haggis, smoked haddock, smoked salmon. The room was very well appointed and comfortable with a great view across the Firth. The hotel is well placed to get around the area. Highly recommended.

What a gem of a place located looking into the Solway Firth, views are amazing. Friendly staff, comfortable surroundings, cold beer and great coffee. We didn't have a meal as it was only for drinks, the food being served smelled and look well tasty.
