This is a really nice place to stat, and excellent value for money. Owner and staff are super friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and spotless with a good shower and comfy bed. Easy to park on quiet road at the side of the property, and only a couple of minutes walk to pubs and restaurants. Good breakfast! Would use again if staying in the area.

Clean, comfortable room. Nicely decorated. Our room had a kettle and fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast can be provided at £10 pp and is dog friendly at £10

Angela was very welcoming. A lovely room, spotlessly clean and such a comfortable bed! A good full breakfast in the morning too. Highly recommended! Many thanks! Brett, Jan and Finley.

Angela and her husband have turned this beautiful dated building into a fabulous warm and inviting B&B.
Breakfast was just the tastiest delicious experience. Over our two day stay, I had both choices on the breakfast menu, My wife and I wanted to stay on for the breakfast alone.
Angela’s lady assistant was very helpful with her local knowledge of Annan, which was most helpful.
Great WIFI and a very comfy room with the best of slumberland beds etc etc.
Thank you so much Angela. Donna and I are both looking forward to seeing you again in the not too distant future.
Kindest regards,
Andrew and Donna 👍

I chose this hotel as I needed a family room for 2 adults and 3 children which is remarkably hard to find. It was the perfect stop on our way from South of England to North East of Scotland. I was really pleasantly surprised. The hotel is absolutely lovely with a lot of character, unlike the typical chains where rooms are all the same. The room was very comfortable and the children would have liked to stay for a week and not just overnight. The bed were really confortable. The room was clean with coffee/tea facility and 2 bottles of mineral which was really welcome. The host was fantastic, welcoming and really accomodating. I hadn't booked breakfast in advance but it was no problem. The breakfast was lovely. Overall, too short a stay as I would love to go back and enjoy the hotel and the area more. I would most certainly recommend this place. Lovely lovely lovely. Thank you.

My partner and I ended up there after having to book in short notice and struggling to find a place. We were very lucky! The staff were very helpful, the room was nice and large, and the breakfast was good. In struggling to find a parking spot they allowed us to leave our car inside. All in all great place and great staff. We will definitely be booking again on future trips to Scotland.

I stayed here for a week whilst working on a project in the Annan area. Rowanbank is a hidden gem of a place, it is a deceptively large and well decorated hotel with a nice lounge area downstairs with a large TV. There are many choices for breakfast (which you order the night before), I can highly recommend either the full English or the salmon and scrambled eggs. The rooms are large and have good showers and Wi-Fi.
All in all a very good place to stay

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The rooms are lovely and super clean. They offer a lovely home cooked breakfast. And Angela is so lovely and accommodating. Will def be coming back 💜

Possibly one of the best guest houses I have ever stop in, unfortuantly we had too leave early due too illness (no fault of the guesthouse).
While we were there they could not have been more helpful, the food was first class the room was very clean as was the guest house.
I would recommend this guesthouse if I could have given it six stars I would have done.

Charming B&B in interesting town. Full of original 19thC features. One of the cleanest places we've ever stayed in. Friendly welcome, comfortable and good breakfast (kippers). Would definitely choose again if in the area. Nice touches, like the power/usb hub in the picture. Great value too, and dog friendly.
