The Red Mullet

We’ve been going to the Red Mullet in Ashburton for many years. Always great quality, well cooked chips, fresh fish and crispy batter. Customer service is always second to none! I’m sure we’ll be visiting for many years to come 👍🏼 Highly recommended 😊

Me and my other half came here for the first time yesterday evening and it certainly won't be our last. The food and service was absolutely superb and we will definitely be repeat customers! Coming in at 8pm we weren't sure what to expect (Usually in a chippy, you tend to get the dribs and drabs at the end of the day that have been sitting out for a while don't you?!) - but the fish and chips were still fresh and I just wanted to say what a great job the staff were doing there. We are very much looking forward to our next visit; I'm not going to lie, it was that good that we are tempted to go again tonight!

Without a doubt the most enjoyable portion of chips I have had in years. Everything is priced reasonably and cooked well. Staff are always friendly and it's a pleasure to visit. Always a good end to a walk on the moors.

Ashburton is the gift the keeps on giving, this is up there with the quality of the curry house This chippy is great and is reasonably priced. Get a pre order in as it's normally got a que, would recommend to anyone looking for a good fish supper!

Would thoroughly recommend this top of the range chippy! Really friendly service, great menu range and quality (they even threw in a box of crunchy batter scraps), and we enjoyed a super supper all round. Very many thanks :-)

A brilliant fish and chip shop. Food is love moved to Ashburton 3 years ago and don't go anywhere else for fish and chips now, very friendly faces and always feel welcomed, also very friendly to the children.

Need a chip shop close to rattery as we are staying in Ashbourne woods we put chips shop near us and this one came up this chip shop was best I have ever been while on holiday…. We’ll be definitely coming back salt and vinegar was to much that’s why I put 4 out of 5 every thing else was ok
