Lovely spot for a great dinner, the specials were fantastic and perfect after travelling up from Glasgow! Would definitely come back next time I’m through this way. Everyone had a fantastic time

A wonderful find and a must visit! Delicious food and lovely staff I recommend this to anyone. The chef took great care in preparing the dishes and the staff also gave us some places they recommended while in the area. Everything we had was excellent, I highly recommend the Steak and Ale Pie, along with the Sticky Toffee Pudding!

A brilliant evening spent in the Carnock Inn, staff were excellent, very attentive and created a great atmosphere. I had the weekend special starter of smoked salmon, a perfectly poached egg and celeriac which was yummy and my husband had the special main of a 10z pork cutlet with Stornaway black pudding mash which was a great pairing and delicious. The flat Iron steak that I had was excellent and my son’s halloumi burger a big hit too. My son polished his meal off with sticky toffee pudding which he said was 1 of the best he’s had and he’s certainly tested a lot!

After the meal we then decided to head through to the bar for another drink and yet again service and atmosphere were top notch, the juke box was in full flow as well as the wine! Will definitely be a regular haunt for us 😋

5 stars all round from me for the delicious meals me and my family had yesterday at the Carnock Inn.we had the sizzling fajitas and the flat iron steak followed by delicious deserts.
The service was first class, waitress was lovely, efficient and helpful.
Will definitely be back and will recommend this lovely restaurant to my friends.
Big shout out to the chef too.

Love this pub! Staff is super friendly, food is good and portions are generous and it’s so local we can walk there!

A warm and cosy spot for hearty lunches & dinners. The staff are lovely and make sure you're comfortable and happy during your stay. The menu isn't huge, but what they do have is executed perfectly. All of the dishes are full of flavour with fresh ingredients and generous servings.
Right off the main street with plenty of parking. Toilets available with an outdoor seating area for summer months.

Visited here for the first time in probably 25 years. Won't leave it as long next time. Food was fantastic. Not the biggest menu but everything we had was well prepared, tasty and enjoyable. Service was excellent too. Friendly, quick without feeling rushed and overall just a lovely meal.

We held a family member's birthday party here recently and had the dining room to ourselves. The food and service were excellent. Friendly, helpful staff helped make it a very enjoyable event.

Went for a meal it was a last minute decision but best one we made food was absolutely fantastic and the waitresses always made sure we were OK could fault the food or service 👌

Delicious food! Friendly service. So so glad we went out of our way to come! We had both the steak pie and the chicken with haggis and turnips and potatoes -- both dishes were excellent.

Found this place after a Google search and picked it because of the scores. We weren't disappointed. Food was excellent. Two of us had the steak pie (highly recommended), the chowder and the fish and chips were also good. Staff were friendly and service was prompt. Got to have a chat with the chef too. Nice guy. He even took the time to research a recommendation for a local attraction we might like. A thoroughly pleasant experience.

Sensational! The haggis pakora is one of the nicest dishes I've every tasted (off someone else's plate!) The gf fish and chips was fresh tasty and cooked to perfection. The white chocolate Panna cotta was beautiful. Thank you for a really lovely meal

In the middle of the afternoon lost in a food desert, we found this friendly and tasty oasis. Warmly welcomed with our baby, we had a delicious late lunch and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and friendly chat with the chef. A great stop in the area of Dunfermline!

Twelve of us came here for food . Racing at nearby Knockhill Circuit . Great night from start to finish . We had pre ordered. Food was prompt, together & cooked perfectly. Waiting staff were so friendly & helpful . Our entire party were impressed & we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Laura, who looked after us was friendly , helpful & looked after us throughout the evening.
Next time we race here , we will be back. Highly, highly recommended. Well done to a great team x

The food is so good here it is increasing in popularity with couples and families, and I would not be surprised if booking here becomes a requirement. We try to eat here once a month and are currently working through all the menu items, all of which have been fantastic, and plates returned empty (if not licked clean😋). Steak pie is a must try, as is the cajun chicken. Kids menu is available as is high chairs, and there is also good disabled access and toilets

Well this came recommended by a friend. Pre booked for Sunday lunch. Parking car on same level as entrance and restaurant. pleasant meet and greet. Nice atmosphere. Great food and all round great experience.

Great food. No, really, great food. The haggis pakora are a thing of absolute beauty. I also recommend the steak and ale pie which is another thing of epic proportions. Good beer as well!
