Staff friendly and helpful from the guy who cut fabric to the young lady who helped us at checkout with patience and good humour as my wife struggled to get new app working.. Think next time will fix it before we leave home lol. Was particularly taken with life size Jack Skellington figure which I believe was created in store.

Great place to find all your crafting needs, especially those mythical ones from childhood, double sided sticky tape and pipe cleaners.
Has very good variety of differing hobby requirements, though certain niche items for each hobby still require a more specialist store, items can also slightly more expensive than online stores but you get that in store experience I.e. same day and able to touch and feel for quality etc.
Overall brilliant shop and friendly staff.

The cashier was very friendly and I visited after speaking to someone on the phone who had reserves some yarn for me.
Overall a very positive experience and much more willing to help than some other Hobbycrafts I've been to.

This was our first time vising this store as my carer wanted some material and other bits so I drove us here and found a disabled parking spot which were quite a few of which is always good to know, once inside the shop I found it to be very clean and tidy and the shelves to be full and informative. There is a upper floor that can be accessed via a slow manual lift at the very back right of the store but you may need someone to help hold the door open as you enter and help you out before you exit from the lift once reach the upper level.
I did have my carer with me and she did help assist me on this visit, after a tour around the store my carer asked for some help from a staff member by the name of Haley who was more than happy to help get what she needed before we embarked onwards to go back down to ground level to pay at the checkout which is a desk with staff behind it. Our shopping experience was a very pleasant and happy one and we shall be back here at some point to buy more of what we need.
If you are the artistic type of person who wants all manner of materials covering most art and craft types then look no further than this place, you're sure to find what you need and remember to thank which staff member helps you as they really are passionate about their job role which does help when purchasing goods necessary.
As I mentioned above there is plenty of parking besides disabled parking and other shops near by including a McDonald's if you get hungry and have many tummies to fill.

Good stock of hobby materials, helpful staff and no problem parking. Been there a couple of times recently. Got some bargains this time: jigsaws & glue guns are half price this week. Had a loyalty card for ages but haven't had any mails yet.

I went to Hobbycraft as I hadn't visited this store in Carlisle. It's a lovely store, 2 levels, packed with all sorts of goodies from card making to knitting, to wreath making. and loads more items. All of the things that crafter's need & want...
I haven't seen such a full craft shop in a long time. I managed to find the blank cards I needed, a new paper trimmer, sticky pads, and loads more that of course 'I needed'...ha ha.
They have a lift if u can't manage the stairs, which is great if like me u are disabled.
The staff that I spoke to were so helpful, especially Pauline who was on the till. We had a good chat whilst she rang up my items. She mentioned about joining the Hobbycraft club which I did. I was presented with a 15% voucher on my next purchase, a ball of lovely wool,( I need to learn how to knit), a lovely suncatcher and a tube of paint!
All in all a fantastic visit. I'm off to Hobbycraft again very soon, more cards needed & I can use my 15% off voucher...

Fantastic place for the hobbyist. Two floors full of virtually anything you could think of. From sheets of paper to work tables!
The only problem I found, it was too easy to spend money with so much on offer!!!
Well worth a visit.

Huge. I only needed beads, but there's a huge variety. And they have sewing machines set out for you to try.
