Our go to place when in Carlisle. Great tasting food with the added benefit of catering for those who need gluten free items - best of both worlds! Speedy friendly service as well - what's not to like.? Thoroughly recommended

I came here with my family on a Thursday lunchtime. The service was great and the food was delicious. The set menu is extremely good value. The leggera pizza with salad is a great healthier option.

It was peaceful!! I loved my food, waiters were polite, toilets were clean😅💯 good price for the meals! Recommend ‼

Was stuck in Carlisle due to train cancellations and decided to have lunch at Casa Romana. Food was flavourful, and really enjoyed the pollo picante starter. Staff were friendly and accommodated us with without a booking.

Only thing I will say is if you’re getting lunch, make sure you don’t arrive right at the end of the lunch opening hours since the kitchen closes slightly before the official closing time.

Lovely atmosphere, restaurant filled with people enjoying themselves. The food was extremely good and all served by friendly and happy staff. The price was excellent too which was a pleasant surprise for such a great place.

Sadly I live a long way from here; just here on business but was able to discover this gem. Value, quality and smiles. When the staff smile and joke together it’s a good sign, Brilliant!

Visited this restaurant yesterday after being let down with a booking at Michelangelo's across the road - despite not having a booking here the staff were very accommodating and found us a table for two! Food was gorgeous and the service very quick & friendly. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Can't fault the prices either! Highly recommend (^:

My husband and myself try and come here every month. It is our favourite Italian in Carlisle. The staff are amazing, Andy(the head waiter I think and if not should be) is wonderful , always has a smile on his face and makes you feel so welcome The food is absolutely fantastic,we have never had a bad experience and we have been a few times. Just absolutely amazing,thank you all again for a great night x

What a truly delicious meal. I had to come back to make sure. Huge compliments to the kitchen. And to top it off, the front of house was just brilliant. Great atmosphere, Great staff. I will be back....

Friendly, efficient service with extensive menu. The good sized chicken dinner I had had a delicious sauce and was reasonably priced.

Stayed in Carlisle for two nights, stumbling across Casa Romana by happy chance. Everything was flawless, staff, attention to detail, courtesy and most importantly the food. Should we find ourselves in Carlisle again, no brainer, authentic, excellent quality food, with great customer service.

Incredible! Staff were so friendly! Service was excellent, and food was incredible quality, arancini, pizza and tiramisu to die for! We would have loved to have come back for lunch tomorrow but they are closed unfortunately! Great for the staff, responsible owner who cares about their staff! Hats off to the owner and staff team here, makes for a fantastic experience! Thankyou so much for your time and effort! We will be back and that's a 200 mile round journey!

Had an awesome experience here. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Staff was very quick and prompt with service. Fair prices and a very nice setting. Appetizers were fabulous as well! Would recommend this place to anyone!

Some of the best food I’ve had in my life. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Nothing ever seems too much. Would come to Carlisle again just to come here.

Amazing authentic Italian food!
They have an extensive menu and they also have a VEGAN menu which is still quite hard to find in restaurants even these days!
The food came out very fast, literally 10mins of ordering our starters came and after that our mains came in 5 mins.
The pasta tasted so fresh both of us really enjoyed it.
I would like to say thank you to our waiter who made or experience even better and was very accommodating. (He was the young lad on friday night, great job!!! )

A wonderful place for the whole family, 18 months to 44 years! We were served great food as always by superb staff in a reliably welcoming atmosphere. Well done to all, we loved it and will be back again and again. . .

Nice ambience , lovely food. The happy hour is a bit of a bargain. Good value, would visit again.
