Very well maintained site with good and very clean facilities. A nice quiet location with excellent views over the bay for both tourers and motorhomes.

Had 1 week there with my caravan, and what a lovely place. We were overlooking the bay it was gorgeous. Staff were friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers were spotless. Definitely would recommend and go again. Well done, seaward staff .

Toilets and shower block was immaculate, very clean. Park was clean and most of the staff were polite and approachable. My only issue was the toilet block could have been closer to tents. Caravans and motorhomes tend to have this facility but they were closer.

Amazing campsite! Spotlessly clean, great location, brilliant facilities, and quiet.

Just one thing to note, as mentioned in other reviews, it is a good walk to the toilets.

We will be back!

Beautiful site nice level pitches. We had a fantastic view from our pitch. The best shower and toilet spotlessly clean and heated !! Great outdoor pool. Our grandchildren loved the site. There 14 and 11 so hard to please. Thumbs-up all round. 7min drive to Kirkcudbright which is a lovely wee place full of character, definitely worth a vist. Lots off nice wee places to eat and lots of local history.

Quick check in and taken to our pitch. Views are to die for. Used the heated outdoor pool a couple of times, not overly busy. TV and games room a little basic but to be honest we only went in to charge our phones. The warden was happy for us to freeze our ice packs in the shop freezer even though we didn’t purchase anything there. Shower blocks clean, the front showers had two hairdryers available - a saviour for those not booking an electric pitch. Yes I would return and yes I would recommend.

Beautiful surroundings, with great views across the bay,,park is well kept and has good facilities,(heated pool,,small games room and a kids play area) Nice clean shower block,,only thing I would fault is lack of toilets on the site, apart from that couldn't fault it,, would highly recommend it and will be probably be back next year👍👍

A stunning setting for a lovely caravan park. We were late on discovering this place so we had to call up for availability, the lady was lovely on the phone and arranged us a spot.

We arrived to a beautiful site which does well to stand out among the beauty around this area. The site boasts a play park, a heated swimming pool, plenty of dog walking spaces and the shower block was spotless, we will definitely come back here again.

We enjoyed a amazing 7 night stay in our Swift Challenger caravan with stunning views over the bay. The site is very peaceful , friendly and quite which makes it a very relaxing place to have your break and due to this it is great for making new friends which we did on our stay.
It is very well maintained and kept spotless by the wardens Grace and Ken. On arrival the reception was closed but a map of the site pointed us to our pitch. the pitches on 2nd and 3rd row are quite steep but isn't a problem. The pitches are well spaced with views over the bay between vans. The facilities are top notch spotlessly clean with great showers. All facilities are located at the top of the park near reception. Unfortunately the pool was closed on our visit. There is a small children's play area in front of the reception. The entrance looks awkward to access but it actually is easy. There is a exit at the other side of park where the bins and recycling are located.
We can definitely recommend this site for a relaxing break, TV and phone signals aren't the best if you require these.
Across the road is a small rocky beach area with a bench to enjoy the view. Kirkcudbright is a 5 min drive away which is a lovely small town.
There is a wonderful beach located just down the road and a great walk along the coast a little further on.
Overall a terrific site , one we will definitely revisit.

What a fabulous site. The views are to die for. The staff so friendly and helpful; nothing is too much trouble. Loos and showers are spotless. For me the outdoor pool is a TRIUMPH...a lovely, friendly warden spent three days warming the pool and the result is fabulous....the water was pleasantly warm and it was such a joy to take a dip after not being able to swim during covid times

Great little site in a lovely area. Facilities clean & tidy, outdoor pool and play area were great for the kids and just a stones throw from the sea with fantastic views. Thanks for having us, hope to return soon.

We had 2 lovely nights on the camping area in a tent with no electric(by choice). The views were stunning and the beach across the road. Showering and washing facilities were easily available however, I suggest planning because there are only short opening times at reception. Can't wait to go again!!! Kirkcudbright was just a very short drive away and was idyllic. Fab bakery opens from at least 6am and sells good coffee 😉

This was our second visit to the Seaward Holiday Park, Kirkcudbright staying in one of the static caravans. The site has great views down the Solway Firth, close to a rocky beach. It has a high standard of permanent caravans and is very well maintained with good facilities, right alongside the estuary of the river Dee. The park layout is spacious and well planned, with different areas for tents, for touring caravans plus a couple of camping pods which sleep up to four with electrics for fridge, kettle and microwave.
There's a small office open twice daily which sells icecream and basic products located near the heated swimming pool. The site wardens are pleasant and helpful.

This is our favourite little bit of Scotland (although there is plenty left for us to visit).

Staff where great and the location is brilliant as well. So glad we came back again (all be it to a different place).

It's got great access to the lovely Kirkcudbright but also some amazing coastline walks both on the doorstep and a little further apart.

Will be back, soon.

Great facilities - lovely warm showers being a highlight. Come here if you enjoy quiet rural locations with beautiful views. Don't come if you are expecting a busy clubhouse with cheap drink and entertainment evenings.
