We were in town for a one day business project (travelled from Glasgow)
After walking out of the local bakers due to their unwelcoming attitude and disappointing enthusiasm, we came across this place just before giving up.
Great selection and we really enjoyed our soup and sandwiches.
Would go back 100% next time we’re in town.

Great place. Everything's fresh, nicely presented and tasty. Prices are in the higher range of normal. You can have warm and cold sandwiches, baguettes. Warm and cold drinks and cakes too. On a nice day you can get a seat outside. There's usually a couple of tables there. Nice for vegetarians to have more than one choice of food too. Well done. Thank you.

Wonderful little sandwich shop. Everything is freshly prepared and their is an excellent choice of fillings. They do panini's, and other hot food .
The staff are all lovely and couldn't be more helpful. I would highly recommend this little shop if you are looking a little bite to eat .

This is a cracking place, with lovely staff and fabulous food. If you like a great sandwich, you can't go wrong with Masterpiece. I highly recommend it.

Great coffee, awesome bacon baguettes and friendly service. Really extensive selection of sandwich fillings and delicious tray bakes that put inches on your wasteband just looking at them! Our go-to takeaway in Kirkcudbright.

Best piece I've ever had. A huge selection of delicious fillings, my only issue was that I wanted to try them all. Truly outstanding place, can't wait to go back. Great coffee too!

We just visited Kirkcudbright and stopped here for lunch. We enjoyed it so much, I had to write a review! The sandwich/baguette/panini fillings were amazing, really unusual and really good quality. I had the buffalo chicken and coleslaw which was so good and my partner had crispy chipotle chicken with melted cheese on a panini. Mouth watering! Had loads of yummy looking cakes and traybakes too. For 2 large rolls, a baguette and a panini, all very tasty and good quality filled to the gunnels, it was £12odds. Amazing. Highly recommend!

Every time I’m working at my property in gatehouse of fleet every day I drive the 7 mikes purely to get my breakfast/lunch from master piece. Good quality and a reasonable price.

Had breakfast and 2 lunches from this amazing place when we stayed in Kirkcudbright for a week. What a choice! Beautifully presented, good portions, great flavour, really nice people. Brilliant.

Chicken tikka with mango on a baguette made to order. Fantastic variety of original and familiar fillings. They also do hot food. Seating outside.

Called in for a spot of lunch 3 weeks ago it was very nice food we sat outside on a lovely warm day with two gorgeous baguettes all hand made would highly recommend this little takeaway a true little gem.

Karen, Ian and Adam make the best food to take out in Kirkcudbright. From paninies to hot and cold drinks to delicious cakes. My salt and chilli was as always delicious.
