Arrochar Hotel

Ok a lick of paint is needed, but the location is perfect. Most of the staff are awesome, very quick, very friendly. I will definitely return if you'll have me. Perfect for motorcycle touring - beautiful location and really good access to some amazing roads and scenery

Really friendly staff and everything was clean.

Stayed here on a voucher deal that included breakfast and also took the offer of dinner over a Sunday night.

Whilst I will admit that the hotel could be described with character and looking a bit older style, you get what you paid for and if you want upmarket facilities...you pay upmarket prices. The price was excellent value for 2 staying with breakfast and dinner and no comparison with other hotels in the area so those marking down, remember what you paid and compare to others...as £30+ in comparison is not real when marking this hotel down.

This is my second stay in over 2 years and can say I haven't had a bad experience on 1st and now 2nd floor rooms. Will admit I was in the one room with the toilet close to the door but having done BnB in Highlands, this was a bigger toilet...and that's saying something.

This second stay was in a room that is similar to a very popular purple coloured hotel chain but without the chaise long folding chair. It did have an excellent view over to the loch and is ideal stop to take walks like the Three loch walk.

Took the dinner option in the restaurant and took on the full starters, mains and desert. Soup of the day was real fresh with chopped tomatoes and was not a mass produced tin version...was real chunky and tasty. Mains were good with Ravioli. Desert was ice sundae and allowed to be modified to have no chocolate with no problems...so real good waitress service.

Overall...and as said.... I would recommend and stay here again...as I have before and ideal spot for loch visits.

We stayed in a beautiful suite with a loch view. Room could do with updating but nice enough. Nice menu, although we were not aware of restaurant on arrival, so ate in bar, which was OK but would have preferred restaurant as there was sports on the tv. Breakfast was fab, really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful part of the world.

Super location for the arrochar alps. We had a lovely room with a Loch view. Buffet breakfast excellent. Would highly recommend.

This is a belated review as we have been touring.

Stayed night of 26 May and had a comfortable adequate room. Evening meal in the dining room was delicious and good value for money. Breakfast was substantial with good choice and as much as you wanted and, again, delicious.

The real gems of this hotel are the staff who are very friendly and extremely helpful. One of our party had a special birthday on the day of our departure. We spoke to the manager and asked if a "glass of something sparkly’ could be provided to her. He said "Of course" and it was duly provided. But, the manager would not charge us for this despite us asking him to do so. I can’t remember his name (for which I am ashamed) but I thank him wholeheartedly for making her day.

Will we visit again? Hell Yeah! Like a shot

Wonderful overnight stay. Breakfast was hot and plenty of it. Restaurant manager was so friendly and polite. Really nice gentleman. Lovely room, and spotless.

Nice hotel in a beautiful location. When I visited most guests were senior citizens (but hey I'm not a 25 year old anymore either), but it was just outside school holidays. I had a nice and small one person room without a view, but for the price I really couldn't mind. Had a good night sleep and a nice breakfast (it's a self serve buffet) the following morning. Recommended!

This hotel was better than expected. Staff are brilliant rooms are comfy and clean. They have entertainment on sat night and the guy was good so all in we could not fault this hotel. Will deffinetly be back in the spring or Summer.

For the price we paid, it was excellent. Yes, it's getting a bit old around the hotel, but it does the job.

This was a very quaint hotel with a phenomenal view! The hotel is right in front of a beautiful loch. The rooms were nice enough, nothing to complain about. The restaurant was delicious, but I would like to recommend that when they serve the fajitas that they open a window. They smelled amazing but filled the restaurant with a ton of peppery smoke that left everyone coughing.

Rooms were brilliant with spectacular views, service was very good.

Friendly staff we originally had standard room booked but staff member upgraded room for us free of charge so we could see the nice view from hotel breakfast time was 7:30am-9:30 am we went downstairs for breakfast at 9:30 on dot and was still able to get breakfast with any issues will be back back here again.

A fantastic hotel that is right next to the Long Loch & not far from Loch Lomond,the views are stunning - Great service from all the staff is pure magnificent,dinning is very luxurious - I highly recommend you staying here when visiting Scotland🏴??????🏴??????🏴??????🏴??????

Such a surreal place to stay at. The location is beautiful as it oversees the loch and the rooms view was absolutely mesmerising. Also its not far from local hiking areas.
Service was top quality and overall i would recommend staying here.

The best hotel in that location the rooms are warm and they let dogs in the rooms and the breakfast is superb

My sister booked this as a birthday treat. The staff were lovely. Very friendly and very helpful and very accommodating to our needs. I am coeliac and the menu was very good for gluten free choices. In fact the red Thai curry was lush and one of the best meals out I have had since being diagnosed 3 years ago. Evening entertainment was fab too. Great singer. A very enjoyable stay and would definitely visit again. Room was clean although a wee bit dated. Bedding was nice and clean. Breakfast was good too. Staff also make your stay just that wee bit nicer with their friendly and warm personalities. Brilliant start to my birthday weekend

Stayed here as a stopover to Mull and it surpassed our expectations.
It's in an amazing location, even on a very wet October day.
The staff were very friendly and focused on guests; and allowing dogs to stay is a real bonus.
Staying at Arrochar again in June 23 and looking forward to it.

I cannot fault the hotel at all. Everything is super clean, came back from a day out to find that our room had been clean and the towels all replaced, even some well hotel chains don't do this. Rooms are well spaced and well equipped with tea and coffee etc. The food is absolutely stunning, everything is cooked fresh. I'm a keen cook myself and find even some high end restaurants cant satisfy my taste buds. But the food was absolutely spot on and staff are so helpful any kind and are always going out their way to make sure your stay is amazing. The view is amazing and can watch all day from your room. Me and my girlfriend stayed here and would recommend it to any young couple. Would stay again 100%.

Lovely hotel. It is a bit old and run down. You can hear your neighbours. They have restaurant and a bar with limited menu for vegetarians. After a long day it's nice to sit and enjoy a drink with the lake and hills as view. They have plenty of park and you can go for short walks which is nice.

Loch lomond is very near if you want to go explore. We got from Fort William to this place in 2 hrs.

Breakfast was nice in the morning. They have breakfast until 9.30am so we slept in a bit. Check out is a bit late as well. We went in June and it was off season. There were a lot of old people:). It was nice and quiet
