I was treated to My Mothers Day lunch here today. What a lovely place. It was so cosy. I'm partial to a fairy light so loved it The food was lovely. It was very busy. A lovely young woman was our very busy waitress. I can't fault my visit and will definitely be back. The gift for all of the Mothers today was a nice touch too x Great job guys x

We came for dinner because we saw on the menu that they offer lots of vegan options. I had the wellington pie and it was delicious! The restaurant is very cosy and the location is beautiful. We didn’t stay at the hotel but can absolutely recommend the food, especially for vegans.

Stayed with Itison voucher.

Arrived by bus - it was easy to get to the hotel by public transport. We were shown to a lovely room - immaculately clean - and settled in.

Despite the weather we had a lovely stay. Dinner was gorgeous and the service was brilliant - we asked to have dinner in the pub to watch rugby and was no problem. We felt really looked after and the pints were so fresh!

We will be back, hopefully in better weather! Thanks to all the staff for looking after us.

Gorgeous view included!

What a superb pub; we were 'enjoying' a truly staggeringly bracing walk by the Loch and were really happy to venture into the Village Inn. It was warm, the staff were friendly, food was good as well as great value. Best of all (for some of us at least!) the real ales were excellent and seemed to be fairly local. A really good inn; all 4 of our party were unanimous and that, really, is a rare thing indeed!

Stopped in here for food with friends, the food was fantastic, the bar had plenty to choose from. They also have a gluten free menu available which was fab! We were served by a girl who had just started working there and she was great! All the other staff are so lovely and welcoming Aswell. 10/10 will be recommending to friends and family!

Stayed at the Village Inn for 4 nights while working at Loch Goil. Location is stunning and the Hotel decor suits its location. Staff are exceptional, friendly and helpful. Room was warm and comfortable, well serviced with tea, coffee and bathroom amenities. Hairdryer, iron, ironing board and fan.
Evening meals were superb, well priced, well prepared with a great selection of ales. Will definitely stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Village Inn, and let me just say, WOW! The location is unreal - surrounded by nature's beauty, it felt like a culinary getaway. The dishes were not only delicious but a work of art on the plate. The staff was incredibly attentive, making the whole experience even more memorable. Fresh, local ingredients added a delightful touch to every bite. If you're looking for a perfect blend of nature and exquisite dining, this place is an absolute must-visit! Can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal! 🥂

Fabulous stay at the Village Inn. The staff were very attentive and chef Hilary was more than happy to adapt my meal to my dietary needs. The rooms are homely and warm, wish we had stayed longer. The scenery is great too as long as the rain stays off!

4 of us went for lunch today, the food was lovely, the staff were friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was relaxed.
The restaurant looked stunning with all the beautiful Christmas decorations it was obvious that a lot of work had been put into creating a truly gorgeous display.
Thank you to the wonderful staff who made our afternoon lunch so enjoyable, we will certainly be back.

Such a cute pub to visit. We just stopped for a beer and fish n chips! The best fish and chips I’ve had by far. Has the most beautiful view of the loch too. Well worth a visit

We first discovered the Village Inn a couple of years ago whilst staying up the road at the Arrochar Hotel. We had a lovely dinner and decided if we came this way again we’d stay in The Village Inn rather than the Arrochar Hotel (which was very dated and a bit rundown).

For our recent trip we were really pleased to find we could book a dog friendly room and booked a night either side of our holiday to Skye to break up the journey. Again we found the staff really friendly and welcoming, had some lovely dinners and breakfasts, our room was nice and comfortable and we felt very at home. The location is great and has beautiful views of the Loch. The fairy lights in the garden and bar give a really nice ambience too. We’ll be back!

I stopped in here as I was driving round the coast, and wow, am I glad I did. The view from my table was amazing, the food was out of this world and Alexandra, who looked after me, couldn't have done a better job. I'll definitely be coming back.

I have been only at the dinner there but can recommend the restaurant, I had a steak and it was really good, quality of the meat was amazing. I can also recommend for gluten free/ celiac people, had no issues after my dinner.

Really lovely, quaint pub with plenty of character overlooking Loch Long. Fantastic food - we enjoyed the burger and the sausages & mash followed by creme brulee fondue and caramel apple crumble, all of which were delicious and very reasonably priced. Loved the fact they have doggy meals too and our pup particularly enjoyed the bark bangers! Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Located on the side of loch long, with fantastic views over the loch and surrounding hills, this inn overs over and above dog friendly service, rooms and people friendly service. Again I had borrowed a dog for the day and the atmosphere in the main bar was relaxed and very dog friendly. They have even offered a dog friendly, grain free selection of food and drinks so your canine friend(s) can eat and drink with you. All the staff had dressed up for Halloween and took the time out to serve and give all the dogs that bit of extra attention as they passed. The menu had Scottish dishes on the specials board and other dishes represented on the main menu. There is a large grassed in front of the inn overlooking the loch offering seating and a firepit (for more Clement weather). From the inn you can walk along the side of the loch, access the shore via plenty of stairways, visit the local church and walk along the 3 lochs way. There are shops and cafes close by too
