Tails and Tweed Pet Groomers

Today our girls had their first professional makeover. Laura and Heidi were absolutely wonderful. Lovely wash and manicure and two beautiful dogs at the end, dressed with Christmas bow ties too. Highly recommend and we will be back soon xx

Took our westie Jack for a bath and a hair cut. The groomers were friendly and asked questions about how we like him cut. Jack now looks great and even though he can be prone to dry skin, his fur has remained soft and silky and no sign of dry patches. He seems to be enjoying his new cut and can't wait to get his fur all muddy again.

The staff at Tails & Tweed are patient and handle our highly strung Cockapoo with expertise and patience. I can't praise them enough. Our dog is always so much happier once she has been and she looks great. I can't praise the patience,understanding and skill that we have found at Tails & Tweed highly enough .

My senior German shepherd Charlie absolutely loves coming here, he gets super hairy and he always comes out looking fresh and shiny and definitely a bit lighter! Laura has been super helpful creating a grooming schedule for him based on his coat to help us keep on top of it. He’s an older boy with osteoarthritis in his hips and Laura really takes the time to keep him comfortable the entire groom. Wouldn’t take him anywhere else. Thanks ladies.

Myself and fellow groomers had an amazingly entertaining and extremely well organized seminar and workshop with Laura. It was planned and executed so well! We all came away with so muvh knowledge from such a well seasoned groomer, along with new skills and friends. Would highly recommend her as a teacher to all those looking to improve and also as a groomer as well.

Tails and Tweed has done Fred my Border Terrier for the last 6 years , he's not the easiest and gets pretty stressed about the whole process.
Laura has such a a calm professional approach and clips/trims him to such a high standard and in efficient time.

Laura has been an utter super star in helping me and my parter with both grooming and teaching us how to handstrip our miniature schnauzer. We didn’t realise how difficult it will be to a find a groomer who is both great with dogs and knows how to groom to a breed standard and we’re so happy that we found Laura!

Laura has groomed our standard poodle Maggi from her very first puppy groom and has laid a fantastic foundation for what will be a lifetime of grooming. We really recommend Laura she is reliable, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about the dogs well being.

Laura is the best dog groomer I’ve ever used. I have a rescue dog that is incredibly nervous, however she was very sympathetic and knowledgeable. He looks a million dollars everytime he has his groom and we get great aftercare advice. I’d highly recommend.

Lovely ladies and a brilliant atmosphere! My dog bolts through the door to get in so she obviously loves her pampers here. Wouldn't want to take her anywhere else.

We're so glad we found Laura! It's extremely difficult to find a good groomer these days, especially for a schnauzer (many groomers have no idea how to handstrip and/or shape his beard/eyebrows and it then takes months to grow back). Hugo looks and feels great after his groom. Thank you!

Laura has been my groomer for years! She has the patience of a Saint when it comes to our cat Jinx. Jinx has typical tortitude, but the attitude goes when she's with Laura! Laura is so calm and professional it's amazing. Other places have caused Jinx to come home stressed, where as with Laura, she remains herself. Laura also grooms our partially sighted rescue, Tia. Laura ensures Tia is calm and well prepared for every stage of the groom. From slow introductions at first, to the noises and equipment, to a full on pawdicure where Tia just flops and relaxes. Our girls are treated like one of her own, lauras knowledge and qualifications really put us at ease and seeing how calm they both are around her, is so calming for us. Tia wags her tail when she's on her way in to Laura! Very reliable, flexible and amazing prices for the services provided. I will not go anywhere else when it comes to the furbabies!
