Fantastic place, coffee and cakes amazing. We have 2 collies one is reactive towards some people but he absolutely loves going for coffee he's also had his first Inbetweeners groom with the amazing caring and gentle lady he was amazing and she (sorry I'm useless with humans names), is such an asset. She also did our hokey poki, and he's a grumbler, didn't grumble once with her, amazing.
Fantastic shop, we get the boys raw food there and masses of treats, toys and the odd harness, all the staff are so so helpful, kind, caring, understanding and just lovely, it's a great place to take your fluffy bum for a coffee too, it's owned and run by 2 amazing ladies and thank you for opening this awesome place can't praise it enough.

My daughter and I regularly visit Dog’s Spot for coffee and puppy play with her cocker spaniel puppy. Proprietors and staff are friendly and welcoming. Puppy play on a Sunday afternoon with a ball pit is the highlight of Marple’s week. Marple has also had 2 puppy grooms which were excellent. She was a bit nervous of the drier the first time but took it in her stride the second time.
The shop is very well stocked with everything a dog needs.

Our absolute favourite place to go. The owners are lovely. So welcoming and friendly. Delicious locally roasted coffee, pupachinos and cake. The shop is always well stocked with lots of fabulous things. And super groomers too. All staff are kind and considerate who put Dog's needs and their owners first. Highly recommend

We've regularly visited with our pup and always found it to be a lovely and friendly environment. The staff are always super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the products they offer. We've had lovely Pawties on several occasions which the humans and dogs have always enjoyed. We love the quality and choice of products. So pleased to have a lovely business like this in Abingdon!

We absolutely love our visits and walks with the Dog’s Spot. Such a friendly staff and atmosphere, and full of helpful knowledgeable advice too. If we are anywhere nearby I am dragged towards the shop as he knows where we are headed and can’t wait to get there! The yummy treats and puppacino may be part of that and of course the chance to meet with his friends! Can’t speak highly enough, a great local family owned business and full of everything you could need.

f you're a dog parent like me, you understand the importance of finding the perfect spot to cater to your furry friend's needs. Look no further than The Dog Spot in Abingdon – a haven of top-tier dog products that Hugo and I can't help but rave about.

From carriers to leads and stylish coats, The Dog Spot offers an unparalleled selection of high-quality goods that surpass the mundane offerings of typical pet stores. But it's not just about the products; it's the exceptional service that truly sets this place apart.

The staff at The Dog Spot are more than just employees – they're dog enthusiasts with a wealth of knowledge. Always ready to assist, they provide personalized recommendations and guidance to ensure you find exactly what you and your pup need.

But what truly captured my heart is their dedication to supporting local artisans. Their range of locally produced products, from ceramic slow feeding dog bowls to handcrafted leads and accessories, showcases the beauty of craftsmanship and adds a unique touch to every visit.

My dog and I absolutely love this place. A one stop shop for all things dog! A wide selection of dog accessories and healthy dog treats as well as a groom room. You can join the Tuesday morning walk or if you have a puppy there is Sunday puppy club for play and socialising.Toby is a large spaniel cross who is very interested in food! Many cafes locally are dog friendly however not all customers are keen and the layout is not always appropriate when you have a dog. Having the dog cafe is fantastic for me as the food is kept out of reach and the tables are spaced so that I can easily keep Toby away from people enjoying a snack. There is also more seating space to the rear of the shop by the groom room. We usually enjoy a cappuccino and a puppuccino with Toby sitting next to me on the bench looking out of the window at people walking by. The ambiance is fun and enjoyed by non dog owners as well as humans and their canine companions, I highly recommend.

Such a great shop full of goodies for dogs , our daughter was delighted to spend time here buying treats for her buddy! The cafe has excellent customer service and the best Flat White coffee in Abingdon! The beetroot carrot cake is delicious and our dog enjoyed his cupcake 🧁 can’t wait to return. Just what Abingdon needed!!

My Harry turned 1 and had a fantastic birthday party with his friend Lily. They had smoothies, cakes, sandwiches galore and a lovely epsom salt message followed by a pampering wash. Thank you Bernie, Anna, Francis and the lovely dog groomer. A very special morning.

Love this shop, Hugo loves everything they sell. It doesn’t try to be a cheap pet shop thank goodness! The owners are lovely and are real dog owners who care about everything they sell not mass produced dangerous dog toys

Had an amazing locally roasted coffee at the best dog friendly coffee shop in the area today. The Dog’s Spot is a recently opened dog retail boutique and grooming salon right in the heart of Abingdon on Thames. So, after a lovely walk by the river, me and the Cockerpoo popped in for a cappuccino and croissant and puppaccino and dog friendly cake. Pawfect!!

What a lovely shop. Great to see an independent retailer in Abingdon and an interesting concept. Nice to be able to have a coffee with your dog without having to sit outside. The coffee was delicious and much nicer than the rubbish served at Costa/Starbucks. Staff friendly and willing to have a chat which makes it so much more personal- never get this kind of service in the big chains! Interesting range of products with all budgets in mind. I think the grooming parlour is a great idea and ideal for those days when your dog gets mucky after a long river walk. I think they also do dog parties !

I am a wheelchair user and my experience was a good one. The shop has small steps up, but a staff member noticed me and got a ramp for me to use. The shop itself is accessible with the odd thing that may need to be moved but again staff are accommodating. Additionally they have a disabled toilet with more than enough room for a wheelchair and a carer. The appropriate safety has been put in place for those that need it.
If you have a service dog I think this would be a great place to take them as you would have ease of access and water etc for your dog. Looking forward to returning in the future.

What an amazing place, with a fantastic atmosphere and extremely friendly staff and owners. The perfect place for coffee, tea and cakes for dogs and their humans alike. A great place to find the perfect gift for your/someone else’s four-legged friend. Fab for those with or without their own dog as it has a lovely community feel - our own dog is no longer with us, so we go to grab a coffee, have a chat, and pat the house dogs! Thoroughly recommended.
