Hornby Tea Rooms and Gifts

Took my mum here for a Mother’s Day meal - pre booked the Sunday dinner which was a large helping of Turkey, roast potatoes, homemade Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, carrots, cabbage and broccoli. Great value for money, brilliant food and all of the staff were warm and lovely to us. 10/10 highly recommend!

Called by & had the most divine cheese scone, with carrot & butterbean soup, wholesome food. Bakewell tart to die for !

This is a really fabulous place. The food is excellent with home made soup that is genuinely home made and fresh scones baked every morning. Service is quick and friendly and there is a relaxed feel to the rooms, which together with the care taken over the food is a real winner. Coffee is good too.

A hidden gem. Great coffee. Delicious cakes. Sausage and bacon sandwiches. There’s also a post office kiosk 👍🏻

Always a cheerful welcome and excellent food. The soups are wonderful and often so different, delicious is the only word to describe them. A regular treat for us on our way to our special holiday home. Keep up the good work ladies!!

Enjoyed tea and delicious toasted plum bread at this lovely spot. Worth a visit.

Went away for a few days with my friends, on the way home we called at Hornby Tea Rooms, just for a cup of tea. We then decided to have breakfast 😋 it was so fresh and delicious. The tea room it's self is like going back in time, selling a lot of home knitted items, will definitely be returning.

This little gift shop and cafe is just delightful. We stopped for lunch. We were able to sit behind the cafe outside in a small but pretty yard with umberellas and picnic tables. The staff were very friendly. The lunch menu incuded some specials that were out of the ordinary ham and cheese. Their prices were reasonable. The food was delicious and well presented, our tea in a proper teapot with vintage cups was lovely. This wont be our last visit.

A wonderful little tea room , lots of atmosphere , very friendly staff and of course very good food . Try it you won’t be disappointed

What a lovely surprise to find little gem. cafe/shop/post office, brilliant a proper village shop, you are made so welcome & after our coffee & cakes it was a joy to just browse looking at all the bits & bobs, then back to Blackpool to look after our son & daughter in laws three Dachshunds before heading back home to Paignton & yes we will definitely be coming back, Brin & Pam Dobbs 😎😘

We visited today for lunch and were not disappointed. The cafe had a good selection of food including sandwiches and cakes. The raspberry scones, jam and clotted cream were amazing!

A magical place full of intriguing gifts, wonderful coffee, cakes and food, including beautiful bacon butties, and very friendly staff and locals. If you don’t visit it’s your loss!

Called for refreshments on motorcycle ride. Although strictly not in the morning no problem getting a breakfast. Friendly and excellent food served by friendly staff. Yes the menu may be limited but quality not quantity is the order of the day here and very grateful for that.

Excellent butternut squash soup with cheese sandwiches on rustic bread. Washed down with hot tea. Followed by blueberry layered cake. Friendly service and plenty of interesting things to buy. Hornsby is a lovely village with some good walking nearby. Will call again.

Stopped here for coffee and cake on day one of our Way of the Roses cycle ride. Both were excellent and the staff were lovely an welcoming. Strongly recommend for fellow WOTR Warriors!
