My wife and I enrolled onto the 2 day introductory leather worker course. Even though we are complete beginners, Chris and Louise made us feel extremely comfortable in their workshop. They are both highly skilled Master Saddlers, you are unlikely to find tutors in the UK who are more experienced. The course covered the basics of leather-working, including how to select the hides, cutting, stitching and buckle fixing, concluding on the 2nd day by making our own leather belt. We enjoyed it so much we are keen to go away and perfect the basics, then re-book again for further tuition to advance our skills. Very good value for money. We have already made our workbench and ordered our tools! Well done and thank you to Chris and Louise, we can definitely recommend booking a course here and will be returning in the future. 5 stars.

Had an old leather belt repaired and a new belt made. Both very good quality and keenly priced. Wasn’t sure anyone would bother with the repair but it was no problem. Very friendly and approachable people. Great service.

A small job that other places probably wouldn't touch. I've had quite a few repairs done and custom-made objects made to my specifications, including a belt and a couple of sets of accordion straps all first class stuff.

Saddler's Den is a place of pure expertise. Chris and his staff are always ready to help. We use 'The Den' for our bespoke dog collars, and leads. They are much better than those from elsewhere!

This is 'expertise in motion'. It's an eye-opener watching his staff stitch a horse saddle. We'd been recommended there for a 'real' dog collar which has no gimmicks. It's so well-made and is just what we wanted for our large and powerful dog. Brilliant service!

Chris could not be more helpful...he has made me a beautiful motorbike bag that matches my leather saddle and I couldn't be more pleased.

I recently used this company to replace 2 leather straps on a tote bag. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, the replacement straps are of great quality, a really super job done by very skilled saddlers and for a very reasonable price! Would definitely recommend

I took my handbag to have the zip replaced £15.00. Unfortunately, the first zip that was put in the handbag was too short, the bag wouldn't open properly.
I took the bag back, and the lovely folk there, without question changed the zip, and it is as good as new, and, they insisted on Rufus(my dog) coming in too. 😊 🐕👜Xxx

Had my bag strap altered there and then and the bloke didn't even want paying (I did) as it was only 2.oo. That's what I call service.

had a late roman four horn saddle made and the quality is excellent. The saddle is comfortable and works really well.

Courteous front counter staff are equine saddlers and their workbench doubles as a counter. Great because one can observe the nimble finger work close up.
