Self service but always clean and tidy. You can press a button for help if needed and usually cheaper than most garages locally

I will rate this petrol station 5 stars, because whilst Rishi Sunak and the Tory Government decide to roger me vigorously from behind with their fuel duty and stupidly misguided obsession with electronic cars, I can at least look at the amazing history of Ystalyfera and its mining heritage.

Not many people know how important this village was to the industrial revolution, and I was somewhat proud to pump diesel into my car at tuppence cheaper than Tesco, purely so I can watch Greta Thumberg cry.

Oh, and I should mention, the supermarket looming over? Does amazing breakfasts.

Self service. Every time I've been there's been gloves so someone must be checking on a regular occasion. Fuel prices seem in line with other garages in the area. The only issue for me is the air line you have to pay.

Filling up black beauty.

Very rarely do you have to wait to use the fuel pumps and the price of unleaded fuel is usually one of the cheapest in the area. There's a tyre pressure machine on-site also which is handy.

Cheapest petrol station for miles, automated (credit/debit card with chip checked before filling) payment offering just Diesel & Unleaded fuels only plus air compressor for tyres.

Convenient for me for my location, especially to put air in the tyres

It's a shame that although you can pay by card that this is not available 24 hours 😑

Self pay. But fast, never needed to queue. Great views whilst filling the tank

Always able to get fuel, no queuing and quick and easy. Also seems to be the best price around.

After being told by an AA man not to use Tesco diesel, I use Asda all the time. Always the cheapest in my area.
