What an amazing sanctuary! Took our 10 and 12 year old boys, we all loved every minute of it. Very friendly staff who obviously adore all the animals, they are very well cared for here. Spent just over 2 hours in total, very reasonable admittance costs, only £30 for a family of 4! My son loved Toto the 58 year old chimpanzee, so we adopted him for the year, which absolutely made his birthday special. The artwork murals on the enclosure walls are amazing. We can't wait to return. Thank you for being such kind, caring people. x

Lovely afternoon visit the staff are friendly. The work they do here is amazing and will definitely be returning missed the new ride to visit the Highland cows by a day. Plenty of seating areas for picnics and a small shop that helps raise funds to run the sanctuary.

Great morning out at a lovely animal rescue sanctuary. Nice to see these wonderful animals being looked after and treated well. The buggy ride to see the Highland cows is worth it too. Lovely to support a fantastic cause.

Myself and my partner decided to do a last minute visit.....we are so glad we did!!!!
It's a brilliant run sanctuary all the animals are so well cared for and look very happy living there best lives now!
The staff are the friendliest people, we had a chat with most of them throughout the day as we wandered around.
They have great picnic areas throughout the park, plenty of places to sit and enjoy the animals around you while you eat.
I would highly recommend a visit it's a great day out for all ages.

What an amazing place to visit. Makes sad reading as to how the animals got there, but you can see how well all the animals are looked after . It's a must for anyone in the area

Cute secluded little sanctuary with a massive purpose, each of their residents has their own little personalities from kaiser the dog to toto the incredible gorilla.
Would spend all day here rain or shine.
There is a huge secondhand book shop in the reception aswell. If you have a book addiction here is the place for it.

Great place to visit. Have visited here many times when I travel to South Wales from the USA. They really care for the animals, this you can see. I’m glad they are expanding. We tried out the buggy rides to see the highland cows, that was fun and new.

They do great work at Wales Ape & Monkey sanctuary and need all the help they can get. The weather wasn't very kind when we were there but the staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean.

Lovely morning trip to the Sanctuary. We arrived approximately 10:15 and opening was 10:30 the car park was quiet and we were the first there, come 10:30 it started to pick up a bit and we started making our way around to see the well kept animals.

We had picnic lunch at mid-day and the sanctuary was getting quite busy, but nothing bad. It was a very nice trip seeing the animals we are well kept and entertaining for the whole family.

Keep up the good work and thank you for creating a wonderful experience

Beautiful place to visit. Your money for the ticket goes to looking after these beautiful animals at this sanctuary. The ticket prices are very reasonable. Really friendly staff. Love the new paths.
Iv been here multiple times and will happily be returning soon
There is no cafe or food to buy on site but cold drinks are available to buy. There are picnic benches around the park. There is a little gift shop too 🥰

We visited on a weekend in January. It was quiet due to the time of year, and the fact it was cold. The charity works hard looking after the animals it rescues, and the price for entry is not unreasonable.

Lovely place to visit in beautiful countryside. Note that this is not a zoo but a sanctuary for animals so you may need to spend some time waiting to see the animals. It’s not huge so you can easily get round two or three times. We managed to see everyone. Loads of places for picnics. Nice gift shop. Teas and coffees available. Highly recommended.

Great place, staff were friendly and helpful, there were lots of animals to see who came out to say hello, my 2 boys loved it there and are already asking when they can go next. Had a little shop where you could but souvenirs and snacks and drinks. the only thing that was a let down was the one toilet. They also had a 2nd hand shop there which had to good stuff in. Highly recommend going such a great place.

This is an amazing place, the animals are clearly looked after, we had a wonderful day, reading about all the animals, how sad what happened to them, but now they are enjoying life, the sanctuary always needs donations, thank you for a great day 😀

What a truly stunning sanctuary supported by the wonderful volunteers that work here! Amazing facilities for the animals on site. They're so blessed to have you all caring for them as you do. Keep up the fantastic job that you're all doing. Well done 👏

So glad we were lucky with weather, staff really friendly and helpful, admission price more than fair, especially against the running costs of caring for the rescued animals.

Really easy to get around the site and the information boards were really informative, I think the working side of the sanctuary is how it should look, working to keep animals clean and dealing with the waste, it has to be done and can make it look untidy, but it ain't. The sanctuary itself is a constant work in progress and overall I think they are doing what they can with what they got.

Good on you guys and thanks for helping the rescued animals.

A good few hours outdoors without spending a fortune. The staff are helpful and friendly, prices are reasonable (for this type of attraction) with 2 adults and 2 children admittance costing about £25.00 and all the animals looked happy, healthy and well cared for. Some of the enclosures looked a little run down, but the livestock are well looked after, which is far more important than the aesthetic appearance of the park. The park is quite small, so it won't take all day to see everything, but you can easily spend a couple of hours here and ultimately, the money goes to a worthy cause. Worth a visit if you like wildlife!

Visited today and thought it was a experience, chimps were the main attraction for us, I've seen some reviews saying how they look sad and depressed but I don't see how that comment makes sense I'm no expert but from what I've seen on TV the chimps in the wild don't look much happen haha, yes the conditions are not perfect but they're far from poor, be real they're in captivity at the end of the day never going to be perfect unless they're in the wild and can you even say they're perfect condition these days, but I do think it's worth going too see though we did enjoy ourselves and I think there is good intent with this sanctuary. We will definitely be back.

Set in a lovely setting, stunning views on the journey here.
We absolutely loved this place and will definitely visit again.
All the animals look chilled and well looked after, it was sad to hear how some of them ended up here. Still they are in a good/happy place now.
The Chimpanzees are a scream, I could have watched them for hours, all with different characters.
It's not very big but a great place to spend a good couple of hours. I would highly recommended a visit.
