Visited today 6th March 24, lovely atmosphere. Me and my friend had a pot of tea and 2 slices of Lemon Drizzle cake which was delicious and homemade. Spoke to the lady owner who was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely call in again when come for a visit..

First visit to this quaint little cafe on Thursday 6th April. It was so nice to step out of the crazy world of 2023 and be served with great tasty food and proper friendly service which felt like being back in the 1970s. I don't mean that in a negative way of course just in a meaning of the whole experience being really relaxing and homely. I didn't want to leave if I am being honest has it was so cosy and relaxing. I used to live and visit Peter Cushings favorite old cafe called The Tudor Tea Rooms in Whitstable and this reminded me of it so much with its old English decor, tablecloths and crockery. So thank you for the lovely full English breakfast and the marvellous pot of tea I had and to the lovely lady who served me. Will definitely be returning.

Such a welcoming place to eat the staff are amazing people and go out if there way to help you. Freshley homemade food every day makes me feel like back at nanny's house.

Absolutely amazing lunch, braising steak in Guinness, wow.

Wholesome well cooked food. We had lunch here today, it was so good. Mince beef and onion pie with vegetables and gravy. We will be back next week, soooo good.

Very good food, reasonably priced, friendly atmosphere. About 2 steps up with handrail to the toilets. Lovely and warm when sunny.
Do main meals and sandwiches, plus small selection of desserts.
Well worth a visit, busy on market days, Tuesday and Fridays.

Gorgeous home cooked food. Had Trio Lincolnshire Sausage and Mash and onions. Arrived with fresh vegetables too. Great value and generous portions. Lovely staff and Covid restrictions adhered. Will be back soon

We stop here on our way home. Every time we enjoy the food and the staff are always friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

Popped in on our way home after holiday for a pre-journey breakfast....as last year it didn't disappoint.....superb food, excellent friendly service....was packed though so book early to avoid disappointment...we're already looking forward to next years!!!

Visited today for the first time, excellent very tasty food, and the staff were so nice, friendly and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely visit again.

What a smashing little cafe/tea room !it's home cooking at its best !the braise steak with 5 veg is out of this world and I love it when wife does not want to cook and suggests I eat out!!!

We went for Xmas meal with friends and family on 21st Dec 2016,weve never been before but came highly recommended and we was not disappointed, the food was excellent hot, tasty, and plenty of home cooked food , table looked beautiful with crackers, napkins etc and staff very friendly nothing to much trouble even helped with my grandaughter who was dairy, wheat, soya intolerant,we will definitely be visiting again soon thank u and happy Xmas to all who made our special day xx

This tea room is a gem its like a haven of english tea rooms from another time.
