Just want to say that the staff in Farmfood, Portswood treated me and my family with an amazing customer service. I was struggling to walk with my crutches, Aiden gave me a chair to sit on as well as helping us with other stuff. Both Aiden and Michael were amazing and they are a great asset to the Farmfood team.

Nice simple store. Some great deals and now has a decent Halal range. Staff always friendly and try keep queues to a minimum. Good free parking at rear.

It's the best place to go to pick up a good deal especially on your frozen goods. The layout is very similar to Iceland. It is lacking when it comes to fresh food, so if you're looking for fruit and veg or fresh meats then better to go elsewhere. You can get bread and milk and eggs though. I'm not taking any stars off for the things that it doesn't have because the things that it does have are at the best prices you will find.

They always seem to have what I want, especially chicken filets, for my dog that I buy every month. Yes, that's right, my dog. Pound for pound, not a dog pound lol or if you prefer kilo for kilo, their chicken filets work out much cheaper than the bags of chicken from most large Pet Food outlets.

And another thing I want to mention. When I compare prices, they are way cheaper than ASDA and some items cheaper than pound land, which, as we all know, sell a lot of their products for more than £1. They need to either sell everything for £1 as the name suggests or change their name. The 99p stores did the same until Poundland took them over.

Lots of items (branded and unbranded) for a lot less than most other places, though prices getting in line with others now 😔

Great selection of sweets and other treats from Spain! I love coming here, I always find what I'm looking for, opening times are very convenient, staff is friendly and helpful, and prices are unbeatable!

Shout out to Michael! Amazing customer service. I had 4 small items he kindly returned to the till after closing it to put them through for me.

I have used Farmfoods for years and their prices are very competitive. Also they letterbox post leaflets for discounts and there are offers in store for cases of Coca-Cola and frozen foods, etc. For example, if you purchase 2 or more of certain products, the more discount you get. The bread is cheaper too. Sunblest, which is a reputable bread company, white and brown is only 65p.and better quality bread than liddell, Aldis and testis cheap bread. Good food shop, worth trying.

I went for Coffeemate and ended up spending much more than I had planned. There is so much food you just can't find in the major supermarkets, and the young lady working the till was friendly and polite and a credit to the Company. I'll be going back if only for the M&M's and thr service.

Low priced frozen foods including some branded goods. Not good for complete shopping but some other groceries stocked including bread ( medium sliced only), milk etc. Don't forget to go to their website before shopping to get discount vouchers.

I went to Farmfoods in Southampton/portswood yesterday evening. Good prices and well stocked. I must say i was shocked at how very rude some customers were to the staff, as if they were their slaves. No thank you at the end or any courtesy whatsoever to the point me and my partner were gobsmacked and left feeling sorry for your staff. They deserve appreciation for staying polite and professional.

A very good alternative to Iceland, they also do some really good foods that icekand do not sell. Very competitive prices and so far , of the items we have tried , a good quality. Ok now the other stuff ... ample free parking at the rear, which you can use for free whilst wandering in Portswood. Level / disabled parking and access available from the car park. No huge queues , depending on what time you go . Worth a look .

Went to the store for the first time after reading a leaflet which came through the door! looked around and found lots offers and purchased quite a lot of them. enjoyed the experience and the staff looked after us made sure we had all that we wanted and were cheerful and helpful! well done!!
