Old, with lots of history to tell. Like, why is the tower wonky? Were there really Lepers who looked through the Leper's window? Who was Saint Giwg?

Went on a really sunny day in the summer. Fantastic place, beautiful church (couldn't actually go in that day) with stunning views.

St. Ciwg is believed to have established Christian worship on this site in mid 500AD. The current church building is believed to have followed in medieval times, with some minor restoration in the 19th century

Sadly, the church was deconsecrated in 2004 and Christian worship has therefore ceased. The church is now seemingly used for cultural and community events.

The church yard is in a beautiful and quiet location with great views out over the valley as you make your way up. Please be aware if traveling by foot or bicycle - the roads up to the church are very steep.
