B&Q Northampton

Karagh did our free design session. She was great! Super skilled at the 3D modding software with an eye for detail, so her commendations were appreciated.
It was an 8:00am - 10:00am session, but she was bright and friendly from start to finish. Offering us coffee/tea/water on arrival.

On our first visit, Maddie (I think) was also really nice!
We had lots of questions as we were inexperienced but she was patient, friendly and found out anything she didn’t have the immediate answers to.

Fantastic helpful staff, I think we deserve shares in the company with the amount of money and time we have spent in the store whilst we have been doing up our home.
Tom who works in the kitchen department is an absolute credit to the company, helpful, polite, and knowledgeable.
We can only praise the staff at this store.
Omar has served us at the till several times even at 7am he definitely is the service with a smile representative you want serving.

The staff are really helpful, the app range is better then in store. Stock levels and availability range needs to improve compared to competitors. Including price point.

First time in B&Q Northampton today, the shopping atmosphere was relaxed, and the staffs are very patient and helpful, especially Ambor, the lady who served me. I will recommend my friend to come. Good job, Ambor, and the team!

You can find anything from lights to plants, storage boxes, kitchens and tools. Reasonable prices compared to other shops. Large outdoor area for gardening stuff. Plenty of parking including mother and child and disabled.

I give it 5 stars simply because of the professional manager whose last name is something with D. Today I had a problem that he solved for me with a lot of professionalism, but the lady who had to take care of me was a very unpleasant and unprofessional person(I went to ask for the supervisor who was with her, a very young one, but she took care of me with a very upset face rude and he left). On top of that his job is not done well, he yells at the customers... I could take the manager as an example, he is a real gentleman...

Item we required was in stock which we checked online before we travelled there. Went through Trade Point and staff were super pleasant. Thank you Abi and Alison both really nice employees to be served by. Makes your visit just that little better when staff are polite and friendly 😊

One of the best DIY stores in the county. Very well stocked with prices that you’d expect from a large national store, however it is smaller than it used to be after selling part of the building off to a supermarket chain. Plenty of parking spaces although the car park is now shared with Aldi so the area can get a little congested. I’ve always found the staff to be knowledgeable and friendly, no reason why not to give 5 stars

Did a click and collect. Had a 2 year old with me and was collecting 25 boxes of tiles.

It was quick and the 2 girls serving were very polite and helpful. They helped getting the 2 trollies to my van and waited with my toddler as I loaded them on.

Great service and as I am new to the Northamptonshire area I am really pleased I used them.

Will definitely use B and Q at Northampton again.

B&Q take note, you have some great staff at his store so look after them!!

The staff at this site is always helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, which is refreshing given I can't say the same for a few other branch's that I've been to.

Got another new shower curtain. My 3rd lol. Best quality...don't bother wit b&m. Price bit more but much better quality. Bought my line and more pegs as well. Very helpful staff help me find what I wa looking 4👍🏾

Alex and Maddison were exceptionally helpful today. The decking we wanted was stored away from the shop floor, but they located it and brought what we needed to us. Well done and thank you.

I came here to get a sink unit, sink and plumbing parts. The girl at the counter for worktops was very helpful with finding the cheapest unit, doors and other wooden pieces I needed. She even told me about the reduced items section and helped me look for items there. The store has plenty of choice and lots of varieties of items like sockets and light switches that I was looking for.

Nice, helpful chap helped me find the right part for my sink plumbing. A leisurely mooch around the tools section, picking up a couple of needed new screwdrivers along the way. Didn't have to wait long at the checkouts.

Some great in-store specials, and a massive selection of products - you should find everything you need here. Parking is no issue, plus you're adjecent to a supermarket if you need to kill two birds with one stone. You then also have the two retail parking flanking it - making it a popular shopping destination in the whole.

I had a very good shopping experience today. I was trying to find bubble wrap, but it was stock control & although it was on the top of a gantry your assistant Russell was extremely helpful & arranged to have it taken down & I bought 2 rolls. Thank you very much for all your help.

Nice walks around a lovely forest. Different length walks to choose from. Cafe for food and drinks. Good parking area which is pey and display.

Chris Lazenby was very polite and helpful. He helped in transporting heavy soil bags to my car. Great service! Thank you.

B&Q is a well established company and cater for most of your diy essentials. However, maybe tweaking on competitive prices against other diy stores wouldn't go amiss!!
