Overstone Manor - Pub & Carvery

Cannot fault the carvery . My wife likes beef well done so they offered to carve it then grill it which was ideal, thankyou to carver who offered this service. Also no issue with cranberry sauce running out, it was replaced quickly. Great selection of vegetables at a reasonable price. Would recommend!

Went for a family Christmas celebration. We were a group of 20 and we had exclusive use of the Oak room.
Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. One or two menu mix ups but easily dealt with by friendly, helpful staff.
Food was great as usual.
Children were disappointed that the soft play area was closed because of broken glass, but as we had the room to ourselves they ran around and played anyway, without disturbing anyone else.

Would recommend to others.

Overstone Mannor has just hosted our annual family Christmas party of 30 guests 2023. We were in the Green Room which was decorated beautifully with an open fire and our names on place settlings, with what we pre ordered from the festive menu, printed on the back to make service easy. Appreciated!!!
The staff were very organised and coped well with all our requests with a friendly and professional demeanour all day.

This is now our favourite place for a carvery. Great meal once again and everything hot and fresh on a Sunday evening. Stayed chatting to friends for 3 hours and no one rushed us to move on. Indulged in a sticky toffee pudding and it was great and a large portion. Looking forward to Christmas menu with a large group next week

Great lunch in Overstone, service was quick and the Carvery was delicious. A special mention to Kiran who offered served our deserts and made sure we had everything we needed, will be back!

Visited with husband for a lunchtime meal food was lovely great service was pleasantly surprised as had not been here before. One of the waiters was lovey think her name was biz? Great services

We were a party of four and had the carvery as our meal to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was fairly quiet as we ate at lunch time and the food was good and plentiful.
After we'd eaten we took our drinks over to the bar area and sat by the window to chat.
It was a nice atmosphere in the whole of the pub and the staff were friendly. The friend who's birthday it was hadn't visited Overstone Manor before and she was very impressed.
We always find the carvery is good value for money and this pub is a nice place to bring friends.

We decided on the spur of the moment to go out for lunch. What a pleasant surprise! We were able to take our dog with us and received a very warm welcome. Our carvery meal for two of us cost just less than £15 in total with a selection of the meats and a Yorkshire pudding as well as an amazing selection of vegetables. Too many to mention. If you want an affordably priced delicious meal within a pleasant atmosphere this is the place to go.

My partner and I have tried just about all the carveries in the area, but we don’t search around any more.
The staff, eating areas, but most of all the food at Overstone Manor is excellent.
It is, in our opinion, the best carvery resteraunt around, despite being one of the cheapest!
We can even take our (well behaved) dog, as long as you dine in the hard floor area.
We have just returned from yet another lovely midweek carvery meal. A small plate, ( more than enough for my partner), and a standard plate for myself was less than £15!
Great service, great value, great food.
Why go any where else!

This is a friendly pub and restaurant where you can get good value meals. There's plenty of space inside, and also plenty outside for the three days of sunshine each year. The carvery is always a good choice here.

The pub that just keeps giving! This family and group friendly spot is simply wonderful. We came across it in passing and stopped for a drink outside on a sunny day. There are good sized private event rooms, a carvery with 3 meat options, a massive and varied food / drinks menu, ample seating indoors / outdoors and don’t don’t get me started on the extras! The staff are really helpful and friendly. There’s outdoor play equipment for children, a soft play, pool table, BBQ food and SO MUCH MORE! A win win for everyone.

Decent menu and good carvery, lovely outdoor area and plenty of parking.
