The Swan, Westgate-on-Sea

I do love this place, reasonable prices for a restaurant on the sea front which I love on a hot sunny day.
The restaurant is very modern deco and is extremely stylish, the food is fabulous but expect to spend your money if you are not a light eater, mostly adults customer range, the staff are always happy to help and seem very busy but need to listen to the customers orders because we have a couple of mistakes which didn't ruin the evening.
Worth a visit even to experience it and I can guarantee that you will have a return visit.
Anyone who give a bad review on 'The Swan' must be having a bad day because I found nothing wrong with this place

Absolutely incredible food! The food was probably the best Carvery I have ever had the pleasure of trying, Portion sizes was enormous. The Staff were also incredible my son is Autistic and had an emotional overload due to a confusion over his food order and the staff were rapid to fix, understanding and empathetic.

This is a hidden shining star in plain site and deserves full tables every single day

Went here with the fitsteps club and even though there were a lot of us eating drinking and dancing the lovely food just kept coming, buffet style. The hot and cold food was all delicious. Ordering drinks was a breeze and they were served in seconds. It's a very well run place

This establishment is a gem right on the sea front, great choice of beers spirits and wine in a relaxed and very comfortable environment. Staff are very friendly and efficient, not in your face but there if you need them. Their Sunday carvery is delicious and great value with a competitive price, set in a spacious and tastefully dressed wing of the building.
Michelle..... the proprietor, is so pleasant, engaging and just wants to please her clientele. Can't more recommend you give this establishment a go, because you, like myself will simply want to return again and again.

A lovely friendly welcome to this pub that’s situated on the coast at Westgate, Kent.

Having booked on line we were greeted by a sign on our table welcoming us.

Food was lovely, the normal menu was good ( not too extensive) and the specials board showed their focus on producing a variety of meals that are home cooked.

We had the spicy chicken burger, which wasn’t too spicy and very flavoursome & two of the home cooked lasagna. Again the lasagna was full of flavour and didn’t disappoint.

Dessert: all the desserts where on a ‘specials’ board which again means a return visit will probably offer another selection. We had the Caramel Apple pie with custard ( delicious) and the chocolate orange pudding with custard. Nothing disappointed.

The staff are worth a mention, very attentive and very little waiting time for everything we ordered.

Price wise it was very reasonable looking at around £20 per head plus drinks.

Been here many times..good honest food including a Fabulous Sunday carvery. All prices well and potions generous. Never been disappointed. Staff are spot on...and very accomodating even if they're full they try their utmost to squeeze you in somewhere.

What a great bistro pub. Front looked clean upmarket new redecorated and welcoming. Walk through the doors and the inside was the same. Obviously been cleaned and well looked after. Staff were warm welcome and friendly. Food and drink both delicious and good variety. I look forward to their winter menu as I missed out on liver and bacon. The waiter even checked in case the kitchen had any. Very kind. I would imagine sitting outside when the weather is warm with a nice drink over looking the sea would be a perfect end to your day. Highly recommended.

Popped in for a pre and post cinema drink(5 min walk). Smart comfortable seafront pub. Great compact range of ales and beers. All well kept. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Didn't eat but the menu looked really good and affordable. Recommended.

Venue (function room) was a lovely place to have a carvery after a brisk walk to Margate and back.

Food was really good - Thai Green Curry very flavoursome and a generous serving. I also tried a slice of the roast beef - succulent and tender.

Staff very friendly and efficient.

It was my first time at the Swan, the staff were great, showing me round to the carvery and even though I hadn't reserved a table, they accommodated me well. The waiters absolutely fantastic, a cappuccino to die for too!

Excellent food and service! Went to a dinner event at the Swan last night, 5 stars added too for such a beautifully dressed function room. Really impressive. Highly recommend!

What a fabulous venue. We held a celebration of my step dads life here. The staff were wonderful, the space was lovely and the food was amazing.

Amazing food, service, interiors and scenery. Love coming here when meeting up with friends for drinks & lunch.

Although I didn't eat here the dining area was done to a high standard. A good range of beer. A nice seating area outside overlooking the bay area.

We had my mother's wake here and everything was perfect. The attention to detail and the food were absolutely brilliant. Thank you Michelle and all your lovely staff.
