Delicious!!!!! Really really good breakfast. It is insanely well priced. Service was good too, beans and eggs were really well done. You can’t beat G’s. We will be going back every day of our trip.

Kicking myself that I’ve lived nearby for years and only just started coming here. Fantastic fry ups, proper generous portions, very reasonably priced. Vibes are great, everyone knows everyone in here, proper community feeling. Could not recommend more.

This is just a good old fashioned breakfast spot, you might actually walk right past if you're not paying attention. We stopped in for a quick breakfast, and their breakfast menu is really extensive to go through. The food came out fast and the portion servings were really big. Good experience overall.

Classic, old-school greasy spoon cafe! A rare site these days. The cappuccino and toast with cheese and bacon was excellent, as well as a super friendly service on top. The place is clean, neat and comfy.

Great Cafe, not changed much in the 30 years since I last used it. Still the same lovely guys running it. Give this a try if you want to go to a proper Cafe, with no nonsense, good food and great value.

Lovely authentic, old school caff with very tasty food and drinks at good value prices.
Scrupulously clean, friendly staff and delighted these still exist in East London amongst the swathe of faceless chains / boujee coffee shops that inhabit the area.
Highly recommended!

Brought my Brazilian girlfriend here to show her a proper English greasy spoon. She loved it. Proper food, proper portions and proper prices. Stop by if you're in the area!

I love the vibe here. The food is solid amazingly quick to come out. Both times I came here for my trip, there was also just awesome conversations going on.

It's also really cheap and great value for your money! London is so expensive and it's refreshing to have a great spot for a fair price.

Absolute classic cafe, lovely breakfast. Great newspaper headline archive. Could have done with some Arsenal posters in there too.

A great place delicious breakfast that I'd be happy to pay twice the price for but their prices are the best value for money in or near London. Staff is super friendly and the place is very cozy and you get a comfortable nostalgic feeling

Hardworking and friendly staff. The food is exactly how traditional English cafe food should be. The front pages of newspapers from WW2 on the walls make interesting reading while you’re tucking into your grub. Oh, and they make a proper cuppa. Nice and strong.

Stick to Starbucks if you’re bothered about rubbing shoulders with the unpretentious side of London.

I used to live in Stepney about eight years ago when I was a student nearby. I used to go in here at 6am before my day began and sit down with a nice cup of tea and the best breakfast one could ask for. It has everything you could want in a traditional English cafe. A warm welcome, delicious food and an interesting decor. Next time I'm in London, I'll try my best to pop in. Long may it stay.

Traditional greasy spoon cafe with very friendly staff and generous, reasonably priced portions. Formica tables and historic (Second World War) newspaper covers framed on the walls. I often pick up a bacon sandwich to take away and never regret my occasional visits for a full English breakfast. Not open on Sundays.

This is hands down the best place to get brekka anywhere in a good 2 mile radius. I'm annoyed I've lived here over two years and only just discovered it. Proper caf, really nice and clean with plenty of seating. Reasonably priced , knocks it out sharpish and everything always tastes bang on. It's a god send to be fair given your only other immediate options are a cheap Spoons breakfast or halal cafes (nothing wrong with halal in general, but when you're after a proper breakfast turkey bacon and beef sausages don't cut it).

Forgot to add - the family that run it are great. Can't imagine any of the reviews around rudeness being true. Always super friendly and deliver a top notch service.
