Wyndham Park

It was such a lovely place! I visited Grantham for the very first time. Small quiet city I must say. I decided to visit the park, maybe a wakk to look around.

I was impressed by how neat the park was, very well kept. The mapping, the walk ways. There was the beautiful stream with what looked like staircase waterfall thing. The scene and the sound was very relaxing. The children playground was fun too. Lots of play options, I found myself on the “rollercoaster" rolling and laughing like a kid, I visited some of the courts; table tennis, lawn tennis, football pitch, older children playground, bowling side. The outdoor gym was spacious and easy to use. There were so many sit outs and corners for photoshoots, picnics, had me imagining what summer would look like. There was this boat riding place, not sure what it was as we met it closed but it looked interesting.

Lots of people were walking there dogs and I paid particular attention to a lady who picked up her dog’s dung as soon as it did the poo, it made me appreciate the neatness culture. Ofcourse there were bins on all corners so it seems pretty easy to keep up with good sanitation.

I will definitely visit again if I find myself in Grantham sometime in the future.

It's a beautiful park for family, friends or for a solo date❤ the ice cream palour has a great variety of delicious flavors and drinks. There's limited gym equipment for those who want to gym outdoors. The tennis court is big enough for a fun game, but its advisable to bring your own racket. The sound of the small waterfall and leaves brings about a sense of tranquility to relax your mind and body and just breathe 🌬

Something for all ages here, tennis, playgrounds, cafe, beautiful trees and parks and riverside walks.

Beautiful park, clean well kept, love information place Alison very helpful. Clean toilets also large disabled toilet which was very clean too. Has lovely river running through park gorgeous sound near the wiers. Great kids paddling pool for the Summer. Nice cafe overlooking Bowls green. Well worth a visit nice place for pic nic very dog friendly also.

Grantham council are putting Sleaford to shame. So well kept with lots of things to do, they’ve even got table tennis tables. Grass cut and it generally has a very well kept feel to it. What a little hidden gem in the heart of Grantham. Perfect for kiddies with a water park and other items. It would be nice to see the boating lake up and running… well worth a visit

Amazing how something can be so well kept! Perhaps do away with the outdoor gym as its fugly and unused! I'm sure the scrap metal man would take it 😉

Lovely park! We walked along the Witham both ways from and towards Grantham. There is good car parking here, an ice cream kiosk, a cafe and clean public toilets

Great model boat club

Took my little to the Easter Egg hunt at Wyndham Park, been there a few times already but this event made it thst little bit extra. Everyone loved the duck race.

This is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area of Grantham. A lot of time, voluntary effort and dedication has been put into making this park a lovely place to visit.

Lovely park to have a walk with the dogs. Great play area for kids.

A lovely place to visit for walks and many activities for all ages. Food area's and wheelchair access. The carpark is a good size but needs to be larger due to popularity of the place.

So much has gone into improving the park recently, seriously, just go have a look :D
From the splash play area to the visitors center, the improved info boards and the outdoor exercise yard, the previously lovely park has so much more to it now.

Lovely green area in the centre of town with good play areas, a little RC boat lake, a lawn bowls area and cycling/ walking tracks.
Neat and clean toilet facilities for ladies gents and disabled.

Great park, plenty for the kids, highly recommended.

Great place to walk the dog, walk in general, even with kids. Outdoors gym equipment, splash park, cycle shop and cafe. Lit up at night.

Amazing park in the middle of Grantham, has a great selection of resources & activities along with open grass to sit on and enjoy a relaxing break or picnic, children’s water park, model boat lakes, visitor centre with toilets, ice cream shop, crown bowls, playground, orchard, formal flower beds
