Welby Arms

We popped in tonight for a drink and stayed for fresh pizzas made in the new pizza oven! They were wonderful! Very tasty and fresh! Staff were friendly and attentive! We’ll be back for more!

Just a short drive off the A1 to get to this lovely, country-style pub where you are greeted by an open fire place and a smile.
Choice of eating in the bar or restaurant areas and the food is GORGEOUS!!!
Good choice of gluten free options clearly marked on the menu.

food is amazing, big portions, fair prices and cooked to perfection. Relaxing pub with a lovely and flowery garden.

Booked the Welby Arms at short notice from an info sheet at the accommodation where we were staying at Grantham. More than happy with the place, the staff and the food. Beautiful English country pub, food was tasty and reasonably priced. Also had Thatchers Gold cider on draught which was well appreciated on a hot day! 3 starters, 3 mains, 1 dessert and about 8 drinks for £108. Would absolutely recommend.

Lovely cosy place with a great choice of delicious food, including vegetarian options. The staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. And the location of the place is great too, with a car park in the yard.

Great village pub and brilliant food. We were getting married on the Saturday so decided to go to the pub Friday evening for a meal. There was about 25 of us in total and so the pub suggested staggering the food slightly, they kept an area for those not eating first to sit and grab a drink while waiting which was great. Everyone really enjoyed their food, the service was great and the atmosphere lovely. The perfect way to start off the wedding celebrations!

Great choice of drinks and food, all reasonably priced. Food was fresh and hot , great staff very attentive. All areas very clean and tidy.Highly recommended.

Lovely meal! We both had fish pie, which was delicious then shared the apple pie. Such a friendly atmosphere too.

I had a lovely Sunday roast, my phone died, so did not have the chance to take a pic of the vegetables. It was delicious, the veg was el dente, just the way I like it, plus the beef just melted in my mouth.

Matt was very welcoming and managed to squeeze me in, even though he was fully booked. Great pub!

Visited as a group, mushroom starter followed by landlord pie and treacle sponge was particularly nice.

The atmosphere was great, and exactly what we were expecting for a countryside pub.

What a great find. Amazing food, attentive friendly staff and a great selection at the bar. Not being rushed between courses was a big plus. It gave us time to catch up with friends. Will definitely revisit. A++++

Lovely to sit in the beer garden and have pre dinner drinks. Nice traditional pub menu in a very pretty setting.

Plenty of parking which is always a plus. We booked a table as we knew that it was popular. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Delighted to see that the menu had the choice of a regular meal or a smaller meal as I have a small appetite.I wish more restaurants would do this.
A varied menu with plenty of choice. I had only intended to have one course but was tempted to have two and I was not disappointed. I just wish that I could have eaten a pudding as well!
We shall be returning as good menu, good service, good food and good prices!
