Pier Pressure

Not been in since it’s been refurbished but hoping that will change shortly. Place still gets a 5 out of 5 for nostalgia. Never the best with the house lights up but my, some fantastic times; memories made and lost here. Particular memories were of the décor, smashed mirrors all the way up the stairs and never being able to hear your mates once inside. Love it.

Oh the memories of this place. Reading by what everyone is saying, doesn't look like it's changed much since I was last there 5 years ago.

By far the funniest thing that happened in my 4 years in Aberystwyth Uni was when the DJ silenced the music so a guy could propose to his girlfriend when they were both off their faces, drunk!

Can get a little claustrophobic, though, and that did lead to security problems when they had to break up fights - that was about once every month to six weeks or so.

The nightlife in Aber isn't plentiful but this is by for the best club. I've never had any issues as the venue is a tight run ship. Although drinks can be expensive.
