Perfect pub. We had brunch here and it was the best cook led breakfast I've had in as long as I can remember. Quality of ingredients was superb. Presentation excellent too. Combined with good service, a log fire and a newly refurbished pub, it was a great visit. Highly recommend and we will be back soon

We had our club Christmas lunch here and despite being 19 at table the food and service were both excellent. Portions were large, well cooked and nicely presented. This was our first visit since the old Harvester was updated and refurbished to an excellent standard serving proper high-standard restaurant food. We were all very impressed and will certainly return.

Enjoyed Christmas Dinner here last night. Glad the old Harvester has been put out it's misery. Service could have been quicker but overall a satisfactory dining experience. Very nice decor and friendly staff. Good that some of the local chavs have probably been intimidated by this stylish venue to moving on to the beefeater up the road.

Tried a Sunday roast here yesterday and we weren't disappointed. Food was amazing, good portions , and all the waiting staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for any of them. They all had a smile on their face , even helping each other if they weren't waiting tables. Can't wait to return

New look & great food. Tried out the new restaurant & all very impressive. Drinks menu is extensive and the quality of food is great. Good service & atmosphere, will def be back. Kids menu had a good choice and very good portions all round. Reasonable prices for the quality, will take cash for tip next time.

We really enjoyed our evening here. The food was excellent. All the staff were friendly. Our waitress was Liv and she was fabulous. She made suggestions when we were not sure what to order, she was so friendly and helpful, most of all she was such great fun. Thank you Liv for making our evening extra enjoyable ☺

Had a wonderful meal here. The atmosphere was great,as was the service. Cheerful happy staff. The food was the best I've had in years, cheers to the chef. And thanks again to all of the staff . Would definitely recommend. So much better than the Harvester.

My partner and I had an excellent birthday meal here on Thursday 18/1/24. The fillet stakes we had were cooked exactly how we ordered them, the staff including the chef, Ash, Oli and Fab were just the right amount of attentive and it made for a very enjoyable evening. Really recommend it even though the restaurant was a little cold, but it was one of the coldest nights of the year!

We had a lovely meal at the cat and fiddle served by Liv and the food was delicious. I had the fish and chips and it was lovely. I can't wait to go back and have it again. My husband had the burger which was nice but I think we will both go for the fish and chips next visit

Had a meal out with my boyfriend and I had the pleasure of Liv looking after us. She is a lovely girl and was very attentive, definitely made the dining experience even better!! Would definitely come back in the future

Reopens this week after a major refurb, new menu and different owners and we were one of the first customers. Modern, accessible, disabled loo, level access - lovely menu lots of choices and Poppy our server was lovely. Staff very attentive!

We hadn't been for ages, but we'll be going regularly now. It was fab and the young staff are lovely. The food was great and the ambience is comfortable and relaxed. We were very impressed.

I booked a table for the valentines menu and I was not disappointed, the choice of food was amazing the food high quality and super delicious. As soon as you step foot inside you are warmly greeted and looked after through your evening, the refurb is amazing and we can't wait to book again.

Absolutely stunning, picturesque building, so quaint.
Service brilliant and the food is delicious. Cocktails available too..Will visit again.

We came on Wednesday 21st.
There were 6 of us. (4 adults 2 children)
Our servers were very attentive and knowledgeable when we enquired about some of the child’s menu options.
Our servers (Josh & Ash) gave a wonderful rendition of happy birthday for my mum as we were out celebrating.

Very nice although we booked and the table we were going to have was near a big gathering so we wouldn't be able to hear ourselves think! So had to go to the bar area but that was quiet and nice.
Food was great. We did download app to get a discount but it wouldn't work as app want loading anyone's account.

We had Sunday lunch at the Cat & Fiddle on October 29th 2023. We had booked a table the day before which was good as the place was very busy on Sunday.
We were given a table in the restaurant area which had very comfortable seats.
The service we received by ‘Ruby’ our waitress was excellent and very attentive to our needs.
We both ordered the Pork-belly roast, which was delicious and my wife’s Pavlova desert was something to behold.
We will certainly return when in the area and have no hesitation in recommending it.
