Clean and cosy holiday cottages - some of which are dog-friendly - situated near Cockermouth. We stayed in Rosella which was perfect with 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen. With the heating on, the cottage quickly got lovely and warm - perhaps TOO warm, but this is hardly a criticism staying here during a very wet and windy November week.
The site location is great; Aldi is 10 minutes away and Tesco, Asda, Morrison's, McDonalds and KFC are all 20 minutes drive away. It's also situated close to the Lakes for sight-seeing; for example, Keswick is only 14 miles away.

Just under new management. Great location, beautiful views. Lots of improvements coming. Great little coffee shop next door. Great prices for holiday home ownership in Cumbria.
