Golls Nurseries

We were told about this garden nursery by my dad, which takes all my family here to have a good wonder around. We purchased several climbers today for our new house just moved into, with the kind gardening vouchers(Golls a nominated place) that family gave to us. Spent over £250, but the wisdom and friendless of the staff is second from none. They even delivered the plants with a great big smile, thank you all staff and Alison and Dale for delivery

Went to Golls nurseries toady what a lovely place, well laid out, plenty of choice, and nice to see different stock of plants, was a nice tranquil
setting, bought plants for my hanging basket which look very healthy, my partner bought a ice crystal fig tree, will definitely be returning very soon.

Lots of love, care and attention here . You quickly sense that the people that look after this business have a passion for horticulture. It's a definite place to go to find a great range of plants and all the things you need to help them thrive.

Reasonable price with beautiful flowers and plants

As always a great selection of plants and lots of advice in answer to my questions. Every plant I have bought from here over the years has grown strong in my garden.

Went in for some aquarium supplies and some new stock for my aquarium.

Wow. Best selection of species, compared to anywhere nearby. The mainstream chains pail in comparision.

Staff were super helpful and chatty, perfect place for all your aquarium needs.

Lefy with some pretty rummynose tetras and I'm defo coming back for that handsome male betta!

I called in whilst visiting the area for a meeting (not as boring as I had expected)- visiting Golls Nurseries was an absolute delight! It’s not the biggest spot you’ll find but they had a super selection of plants- and all in a very good condition I might add.

I oft visit these places too frequently 75% of the floor space is given over to ornaments, and gift cards, and figurines that say “I love you”… Golls isn’t like that. It’s clearly operated by a proper plantsman. Or (given the efficiency of the operation plantsWOMAN.

Exceptional value, well laid out, friendly staff. What more could you want!? And, whoever writes the labels for the plants is a genius- I was intoxicated by some of the descriptions!

I look forward to my return. If I’m ever brave enough to leave Yorkshire again.

Really lovely garden centre. Great plants, trees and pots. We were able to find the aquatic plants we were after and even bought 4 fish for our pond. We will definitely visit again.

One of my favourite places to go. Huge selection of indoor and outside plants. You're bound to find something special here at a good price. All the staff are lovely and very knowledgeable. Can't wait to return!

A garden centre that is about PLANTS, run by folk that know and care about PLANTS. If you're looking for
calories, you'll need to go elsewhere. Cracking selection of plants and garden ornaments. Some beautiful aviary birds to see (not buy) and a lovely little aquatics place.

Great place. A little way out but worth a visit

We stumbled upon Golls while on a day out and couldn't believe the range of plants, some we had never seen before.
It was a pleasure to walk round - so colourful.
The staff were friendly and we filled two trolleys as we were so impressed and the prices were good.

I can thoroughly recommend Paul who reconnected the pipework in our water feature. It was a complex job. He was punctual, efficient and friendly.

Very helpful staff. Not pushy but willing to walk round and give you information on about all the fish, this helps you pick the ones that best suit your tank. The young girl was incredibly helpful, a real credit to the team.
