Very interesting. Free parking. Be warned if taking children though as there is the skeleton of a Monk from the nearby ruins of an Abbey near by on display, which is short walk away.

One of our town's little gems. A historic site set amongst stunning meadows alongside the River Arrow in Redditch, within walking distance of another of the jewels in our crown, Arrow Valley Lake. It's picturesque, a piece of perfect tranquillity with a pinch of magic about it. There are lots of family events and you can always pick up a lovely hot drink & treat/snack after a walk. Surrounded by wildlife and plenty of new things to learn about, often hidden in plain sight! I've lived here all my life and never tire of this place and the area around it. We're very lucky to call it ours!

Fabulous local site for walks and events!
We have attended many seasonal events and featured day events with the children over the years, always a pleasure to support the upkeep of a peice of history and beautiful landscape.
The grounds are kept tidy and accessible for lovely walks and exploring.
The volunteers do a wonderful job with events.

Such an interesting place to visit. So much more than sewing needles. The building is well worth seeing too, and in a very scenic setting. We enjoyed a very pleasant light lunch too! Don't forget to see the abbey exhibition too.

Lovely historic buildings, well maintained and interesting to visit.
Plenty of open space to walk and for children to play.
Can buy refreshments and sit, relax and enjoy the views.
The ruins of an old monastery can be visited, free of charge, during summer months. Very interesting visit

Lovely place for a family day out. Everything is clean and nice, stuff helpful and polite. Lovely picnic area, little playground and sand pit for kids. Ruins of the monastery and green field's around, perfect for a walk. Pond with swans and ducks, food available in gift shop.

The place maybe small but it was very interesting. Definitely a place to take the kids because of the play area. Coffee is average but everyone is friendly and nice. I think their magnet is definitely worth buying! Be sure to bring something to feed the ducks by the mill if you have kids!

Lots if information on needle production and a good sized playground to keep the kids entertained.
Lots of parking space and a massive field with monastery ruins to look at.

Small but surprisingly interesting. You have to ask yourself the question "How could they make a museum about needles?" It's definitely worth finding out

"Wow, that's incredible!" We were both surprised when my partner said that about one of the exhibits, but the museum is far more interesting than you'd expect. Definitely worth the entry fee. Location is good too, next to the ruins of a medieval Abbey

Very informative tour that really makes you appreciate all the work that went into producing a humble, but versatile, little needle. The grounds are lovely and well kept, and they have a nice little gift shop.

Stopped off after a walk with my little boy. They have a fab new play area with sandpit and new play frame. He was really happy playing for a couple of hours. Cafe on site also reasonably priced. Highly recommend
