The Blue Boar

Really wonderful dining experience. We had two young children and the waiters couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. There are some fish which the girls loved watching. The food was really delicious and reasonably priced. The desserts were beautifully presented. There's a lovely atmosphere. We had been staying at Billesley Manor and their restaurant was awful by comparison to the Blue Boar. I highly recommend it and will definitely visit again if we are passing. A really special place.

We visited here for a meal only (not the hotel). Highly attentive service and an excellent menu (a mix of modern European, Indian menu and pub classics). Food was excellent. My recommendations are the fillet steak and sticky toffee pudding.

Honestly..you need to stay here. This beautiful English pub is so much more.
Rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The food in the restaurant is so good. All your pub favourites are combined with a lovely selection of Indian classics..so tasty and the full English was just right. We are definitely returning at some point.

Great pub accommodation.
Great size room. Good size bed. Mattress was OK.
Room was clean, as was bathroom.

Restaurant was great. Food was good honest pub food. Tasty and enjoyable The duck was cooked to perfection.

We didn't stay but had lunch there. The pub is beautiful. All the looks of a traditional beamed pub but with enough space to stand up in! All the food items we had were high quality, perfectly cooked and well presented. The service was fantastic as well. We shall definitely be back should our path take us near it again!

Lunch for 12 hungry walkers. Excellent service at the bar on arrival, took the orders quickly & we were eating within 20 minutes. Lovely food from their pub classics menu, followed by an excellent coffee with complimentary biscuit & chocolate mint.
The service was brilliant and a touch of class with decent wine glasses & linen napkins.
Hard to fault, well done the team at the Blue Boar.

We have just returned home from an absolutely enjoyable weekend at the Blue Boar. Stephen made us feel very welcome, very attentive for the whole of our stay.
Our room was very clean and we was impressed with how powerful the shower was. In general this hotel was very friendly and we would definitely be making another booking very soon.

We've stayed here close OK 20 times. This time for 2 nights with friends a total of 4 rooms. We ate at the restaurant both nights and both the food and the service was as always top draw. A special mention to Stephen who is always welcoming and a superb host and one of the reasons we return whenever we're in the area. As a manager of a business you can't buy staff of his calibre

As an extended family we had a superb meal and overnight stay here before going to a family wedding the next day. In fact members of both wedding families ate and stayed here. Everything about this place is amazing. Thank you so much. 🍽🍺🍷😋

Stayed at nearby B&B pub was so lovely food was great staff are brilliant. The India food was superb and great value. Good car parking to. Would recommend highly.

Wow! You’ve got to experience this beautiful and quaint gem tucked away in Alcester! Been staying over for 3 weeks and the service is impeccable! The team is friendly and intuitive, they go beyond to make your stay memorable. Rooms are clean and the decor stylish but cosy. What are you waiting for? Come experience this for yourself. Done the christening in there for my daughter last year in September and we absolutely loved it ! Food was amazing, serving amazing, staff very helpful . We defwill be back in there . My quests been over the moon :) as myself . Really did enjoyed my stay in there

Absolutely love the food at the Blue Boar Inn, a English pub with such good Indian food is a rare find , recommended their starters, truffle paratha and lamb dishes , expresso martini is very tasty and creamy , highly recommend

This is just a delightful place to stay and a real find! My wife and I booked to stay here, as we wanted to check out Stratford upon Avon and we weren’t disappointed.
We rang to ask if we could park our car earlier and go into town as check in isn’t until 2pm. We arrived early to be told our room ready. Bonus and a big tick.
When we returned after a day in Stratford we were greeted by a lovely team member called Aoibha, who just made you feel really welcome. That was just the start, as everyone in bar and restaurant were just excellent at doing their job.
We had food in the restaurant and had the best curries we’d eaten in some time. Well done to the chefs for the food, and the waiting staff were excellent too.
Finally, our room was clean and had everything you could possibly want in it.
We definitely recommend the Blue Boar and would stay here again when in Stratford.

We didn’t stay at Blue Boar, but have eaten there on several occasions. The pub classics are delicious, but the Indian food options are where the kitchen really shines. Best butter chicken I’ve ever had. Chicken Biryani is presented a bit oddly but the flavor is delicious. My son raved about the Lamb Kadai. Definitely worth a visit for dinner.

Such an amazing evening - stunning food, restaurant and service! Sheryl was amazing and couldn’t do more for us! The menu has such variety - the Indian and steak were insane!

Stayed here for 2 nights the price was reasonable came with a breakfast for £55 , the rooms are modern with an excellent hot shower well decorated bathroom . The food on the menu is pricey but wow you get good food for that money . Friendly staff ample parking prob up there with the best at this price well worth a visit just for the amazing food

A brilliant meal, great service. Highly recommend the Blue Boar for a good meal. We had Indian but they do classic pub grub as well.
