Lava Lounge

Went with colleagues for a leaving do dinner. Beside Epsom General Hospital. Has bar area and outside covered garden. Parking limited to a number of cars. Toilets maintained and spot clean. Ambience is really good. Live music. Staff accommodating. Depends on what food you like, but most of us tried the rib eye steak with peppercorn sauce and sweet potato on the side. I had it medium rare. It was alright for me but most of my colleagues had some issues with it. I guess its the quality of meat they use. Drinks and cocktails price affordable. They love the pina collada🍹! Thumbs up for that 👍. Ended up to try the lava chocolate bomb and creme brulee. It was good. Overall recommended. Will be back again.

We had a large Christmas work dinner for around 18 people. Firstly, as soon as you walk into the restaurant, you know that this place means business. It is beautifully designed, with an amazing outdoor area, which I will definitely be using in summer. The food is of the highest quality and presented with finesse. All of our party members were thoroughly impressed with all 3 courses. The staff were attentive and kind, with a special mention to the manager who was overseeing all aspects of his restaurant to ensure everyone was having a great time. 10/10 would recommend...this one is worth travelling for!

Saturday bottomless brunch food was very nice and good portions. Drinks topped up quickly and refills offered. Service nice and friendly. Only negative we were offered to swap our main rice to sweet potato fries without being told it was an extra charge. Would defo come back again

Lava Lounge has to be my favourite local restaurant! I’ve been there a few times over the last weeks as they’ve had great lunch and dinner deals on, on top of that the food is first class and the cocktails never disappoint! The staff are friendly and chatty and the atmosphere is always fab.
If you haven’t been already I highly recommend you go soon…

My daughter bought me here for really my first night out after 6 months being sick.
Not gonna lie I loved every min of it. The staff were amazing especially the owner’s daughter who was an absolute delight food was delicious. My steak came out over done but was fixed straight away. Bar man James was lovely too. I would say it was expensive but to be fair it’s a lovely looking place and the food was good quality would definitely come back.

What a fabulous experience on Sat at my bottomless lunch….we had the best fun, I can’t believe it lasted almost 10hrs…..awesome!!

The atmosphere, live sax player, food, attentiveness and friendliness of the staff was wonderful and of course the DJ topped off a perfect fun day.

Even the gorgeous man on the door made us feel special from the moment we arrived…everybody in the group loved it from start to finish….we can’t wait to visit again soon.

Outstanding food and service. We had a lovely welcome by friendly staff on arrival. The food was delicious, and had an extensive wine list which was great! After the meal, we spent time in the large terraced area outside which which was surprisingly warm with the heaters!

We would definitely recommend Lava Lounge to anyone who's looking for a premium dining experience in a modern atmosphere. We will definitely be attending again!

We went to the Lava Lounge last night for my partner's birthday (5 of us) and I was a bit dubious after reading a couple of the reviews but I shouldnt have worried. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The doorman was very informative , and all the staff were super friendly and polite. The food, although slightly pricey was superb and the drinks were lovely too. The sax player was really good and it really made for a lovely atmosphere. We sat outside under the canopy and as the evening cooled down the heaters all around were put on, a lovely touch. The staff even came and sang happy birthday to him much to his embarrassment. The management have obviously spent alot of money on the place, everything was top notch and we will definitely be returning. Thank you all for a lovely evening.

I rarely make reviews but I must say, I travelled 25 miles to get here for my fathers 58th birthday celebration.

Fuel well spent and I would happily travel the same distance again.

Food was delicious, great location, wonderful layout, lovely ambience, polite staff.

Booked another table for my father and mother who are coming again the next week with their friends to become their new relaxing place for brunch.

We will be returning here as regulars. The place looks amazing and the bar has a great selection of drinks. The food was really good. Even our vegetarian friends said their dishes were amazing. The steak and chicken was very well prepared and the presentation was excellent. The staff were all super friendly and attentive. Defo one of the top places in Surrey.

Lava Lounge is the best venue in Surrey and I would strongly say the best venue outside of London. Lava Lounge definitely has a vibe of it's own and is hands down the place to be on the weekend! They have nailed every aspect that a venue has to offer and more. Lava Lounge definitely go above and beyond to make sure each guest gets the whole Lava Lounge experience! Best food, amazing cocktail menu, great live music that everyone can vibe to and amazing staff to top it all off who make you feel right at home and who are very attentive. Hats of to the owner you've done an amazing job! The only venue that makes you feel you're abroad! I always enjoy and look forward to returning back to you guys again, you never fail to deliver!

Definitely lives up to expectations. The service is impeccable. Food was phenomenal with amazing flavours and presentation. I’ve personally been to a few fine dining restaurants and this definitely ranks as one of the top three. Superb service and attention to detail, staff were very friendly, charming and helpful. A very intimate and attentive experience.

We pre ordered a mixed sharing platter, plus a few extras, to be collected at 6pm on Christmas Eve. Arrived to find food promptly given to us by very welcoming staff. After 20 minute journey home the food was still hot. It was exceptionally well presented and tasted delicious. Well done Lava Lounge, we have dined with you several times and now will definitely get more take away food from you.

I invited 20 of my own staff to Lava lounge for our Christmas party in December. We also had our own NHS department dinner of 30 people there few days later. The experience was one of the best we had. The food presentation, flavours and taste were of the highest calibre. The service was great and we were very well looked after. All the waiters were welcoming and accommodating for our needs.
The manager, Imran, was brilliant and we were really impressed. I really liked the veal chops and my wife loved the grilled tuna steaks. As a matter of fact, one of our party reckoned the tuna steak was as good if not better to the one he had few days earlier in a Michelin star restaurant. The deserts were just exquisite and so were the different cocktails.
The whole experience was great and we will definitely be going there again. I am really pleased that we have such an amazing place in our local neighbourhood. Well done Imran and the team. Congratulations.

I very rarely offer any reviews unless the product or services offered is exceptional, my wife and I visited the brand-new Lava Lounge in Epsom on Saturday night, to say that we both were blown away by the amazing ambiance, attentive service and the mouth-watering food.

From the moment we arrived we were treated by friendly staff, the attention to detail and presentation of the food was what my wife and I would have expected from a top Michelin star restaurant but not the prices.

You simply have to try their unique Lava sauce with any dish.

We decided to try this new restaurant today for lunch and we weren't disappointed! From the beautiful warm decor to the attentive staff and delicious, well presented food, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Highly recommended and, in fact, we have booked a table for Christmas Day!
