I came here a few weeks ago with my work team. I had the swordfish, it was amazing! Lots of choice on the menu. Cater well for those who are gluten free/vegan as well! Those who are driving will need to pay to park in the car park across the road.

Lovely Turkish grub.. very large portion as well.. we got the £24.95 mixed platter and also Humus which was enough for 2 people.. great taste, great service and the waitress was very helpful as well.. would definitely recommend.

We took dad to mahzen for his 70th birthday food was amazing staff were amazing and the atmosphere was the best, we sung happy birthday and the whole restaurant applauded him which was very moving as we almost lost dad to a heart attack in aug 2023! Thank you for a great evening, we travelled from London to Ipswich for the night too! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Great food, amazing ambiance, great selection of drinks. Mahzen is a gem in Ipswich. We parked at Duke St car park which was a 2 minute walk away from the restaurant.

Highly recommend the chicken pirzola and the lamb shish. Huge portions too!

Walking thru town and found this spot while learning some of its history and let me tell you this food was DELICIOUS and had quick service I recommend the meal for 6 great price more than what you pay for

Visited Mahzen in Ipswich and was thoroughly impressed. The lamb beyti was incredibly delicious and the waitresses were so helpful and attentive. Highly recommend for anyone seeking authentic Turkish cuisine.

Absolutely amazing all round. The waitress was very warm and friendly.We had the hot meze for 2 which was enough for the 3 of us. The food was so tasty and flavoursome. Thank you ,can't wait to come again.

Both the food and the service here was fantastic. The attention to detail from Kerry was second-to-none. The food was excellent; the lamb extremely tender and the chicken beautifully succulent. The prices are more than reasonable at less than £5 a pint and £15 - £20 per course. The hot meze is ideal to feed two as a starter, and at £20, represents good value in my opinion.

It was a quiet mid week evening out with my son. His choice of restaurant and very pleased with it. He paid too, so even better!

Amazing food and great service. I was with a group of 18 so didn't know what to order but the girls there were brilliant in helping out with that and with generally looking after us.

The food is amazing & very tasty 😋 we had dinner here today. Put it this way Ipswich is very lucky to have such an amazing place on its doorstep and Turkish wine was fantastic😀

We had a lovely meal here. We had to book here as a last minute change of plans for my partners birthday. And it didn't dissapoint. He had the T-Bone steak, which was as delicious as it looked, and quite frankly at £35 was a bargain.

They put us at a table which was right next to the grill. Which as first we both thought was awkward because it didn't leave much space either side, but we decided to give it a chance before saying something. And we soon felt like we had the best seat in the house as we got to watch them make everything, including the steak.

We have been to a fair few steak places l, mostly around London, but this steak was cooked to perfection.

I had the more conventional Turkish dish beyti and it was also yummy.

Enjoyed the meal, had Lamb. Service was really good. Ordered rice with my meal, got bulga wheat, not sure that's rice. I would have liked rice. Should say bulga wheat on the menu not rice. Overall a really great meal, the taste was divine.

Amazing food, attentive staff and a lovely vibe about the place

I had dinner with my boyfriend at this restaurant. Good atmosphere, relaxing music, nice interior, fast service, and delicious food, except for the strong tasting cheesecake. It is one of the best Turkish restaurants.

Fantastic meal! We got the 4 person platter and we were stuffed! The meats were all delicious. I would definitely come back again!
