Chennai Dosa

If you are in Ipswich or ever go to Ipswich and crave for 'Authentic' Indian food then Chennai Dosa is your place to be.
We had Lamb Biryani, Chicken Biryani, Chicken 65 and Chilli Chicken and everything was perfect.

Authentic south Indian masala dosa available here with sambar and three varieties of chutney. Too good. Truly unbelievable that you get authentic dosa in the UK. It's not just about dosa. There are variety of veg and non veg parathas, Biryani's and many other Indian items on the menu. It's value for money. Must visit if you happen to stay around the Marina Bay.

South Indian food was amazing and service was great. But payment by cash only was an issue as we didn’t carry any cash . I suggest you guys to carry cash while visiting

Absolute bargain, beautiful food and truly lovely staff. A little slice of India right there in Ipswich. If you’ve ever actually been to India, or want to find out what it’s actually like to eat there, then check this place out. Superb.

Good varieties of starter and main dishes. Nothing fancy about interior but food tastes so nice and enjoyable.

Favourite restaurant in Ipswich! So delicious, friendly service, really good Value. The dosa is the best, pick any one, masala dosa or chilli dosa with coriander is so good. Fish chukka, oh my!. They have beer again now. This restaurant is right back on track with the food.

Delicious Indian food in a style I had not had before. I had the Fish Fry and Mulligatawny Soup and hot chai tea. So flavorful and affordable, would definitely go again.

If you love south Indian taste you must go for it. They have a variety of dosas, breads, biriyani, tandoori and lots more...must try places for people from India or who love south Indian cuisine.

Super tasty food, the dhal was good and their parotta is very tasty! Lots of nice, traditional vegetarian options as well.

This is the first Indian restaurant in the UK where I felt as if I was actually in India :). Taste wise food was good, quantity sufficient. We ordered Chicken & mutton biryani & paneer masala Dosa & mango lassi. Service was a bit slow (though it was quite busy even on 26th December Monday). The interior could have been improved a bit (again & reminded me of India).

Amazing south Indian food. We came in as a big group of 7 without booking. The host was very kind to accommodate us and make sure our big table was fed in time. Also took our big takeaway order. We ordered almost everything in the menu and can safely say that everything was amazing.

Best South Indian food in the UK in my opinion. Authentic flavour and consistently good. Staff are friendly and very helpful too.

One of the best south Indian dish hotel in Ipswich. Located on road and easily accessible. Both veg and non-vegetarian are available.

Good place to eat. Large variety of dosas. Weekend buffet is not available but tea is really good and masala tea specially and milk tea is rare find in Ipswich. Great South Indian food and taking covid measures as best they can. Starters are also good. Good to visit with your family and vegetarians options are also there.

Every time I go to Chennai Dosa, I am always satisfied with the food prepared for my 2 year old kid. He loves the food here and we too enjoy whatever food we order.
