Really enjoyed staying here and the food was both lovely and plentiful. Kelly was great and greeted me when I arrived and the rooms were clean and met my needs. This place featured on a TV show and they make note of this on occasion. Plenty of places to eat nearby and also use of their breakfast room enable a you to use their facilities if you choose not to eat with them and bring in your own. Lovely stuff.

The hotel looks OK from the outside, through the window it looks even better, unfortunately I couldn't get in and the phone number sounds like it's been diverted to another country... And nobody answered..... So I paid again at travelodge and stayed there.... Went to the hotel again the following day, nobody there, phone still just rings out. I'm sure it's a lovely hotel and by all accounts the reviews are fairly good... Is this a reverse escape room, where you have to follow clues to get you into a locked hotel lol 😂

I can review the car park : nice black tarmac, lovely matching dropped kerb entrance way, and the warming / snug sodium lighting from the council street lights really kicked things off nicely.

Always had a friendly welcome at the Old Times myself.

Would recommend it for a Roast or just a pint, I think they do private dining too!
