Christopher's British Bistro - Restaurant

We have recently tried the Sunday carry-away from Christopher Tamworth, and they are an absolute delight! The food is worth every penny, and the taste was amazing. The gravy was so good that you could practically drink it straight from the pot. And I can’t forget to mention that their sticky toffee pudding is the best I’ve ever had. The quality and flavours exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend giving their Sunday dinners and puddings a try; you won’t be disappointed!

Gorgeous little bistro restaurant, heart of Tamworth. Lovely atmosphere very relaxed and staff extremely friendly and accommodating! Sarah and her team were fantastic with us lot, quite a lot in for a 80th birthday celebratory meal and they were amazing. Quick service on both the 3 course meals and regular drinks orders! Could not fault this place, again thank you!

Had the most amazing meal here for valentines night the pate was lovely and strong, the steak was beautiful and cooked to perfection and so tasty and the pudding was delicious! I even managed to get an elusive Irish Coffee which was perfect. The atmosphere was really lovely and relaxing I really recommend a meal or two here!!

Lovely little place with some decent food. I had tapas, breads and olives with a pint of lager and everything was lovely. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the place was very clean with a good selection of drinks.

We had tapas here last night and tbh it was equal or better than many of the tapas we have had in Spain , Balearics & Canaries ... we probably ordered one too many dishes but that aside they were all cooked to perfection and delicious.
Staff are all really nice and the chef/s produce some lively food plus at the bar there is a great selection of drinks ( for the guys I'd recommend a pint of the " level head " )

Just had what was probably one of the best Sausage 'n' Egg baps I've had in a long time. You know it's excellent when it doesn't require any ketchup. Anyway, my first visit here (Breakfast networking meeting) and the venue is delightful as is the service. Now I'm aware of its existence, I'll definitely be returning to try out some of their other fare. 👍

Visited from Texas and this place is a GEM! I will always come back here! Everyone was so friendly and kind and I cannot wait to come back here. The tea they serve is so delicious and so is breakfast!!

Class is a glass, or in my case a mug. The menu options look, as a eloquent friend of mine would say, simply amazing. I’ll be back in the near future to sample its culinary choices.

The food here is excellent it is all cooked fresh and not that pricey. They have a tapas menu too which we will be back for. It does have parking to the side of the restaurant or parking a bit further along that is free after 6. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere was good.

Each visit impresses me more than the last. The food is very fresh, delicious and well presented. The team are always friendly and helpful and make me feel welcome during each visit. I highly recommend Christopher's. It's Tamworth's hidden gem.

We had a carry away Sunday lunch from Christopher’s yesterday and I have to say it was the best carry away lunch we have ever had ! I’d even go to say it’s one of the nicest Sunday lunches I have had full stop. Not many places have carried on the take away service since covid. But, for us having nice meals to be able to eat at home is really important. This is due to the fact my mom has been diagnosed with an aggressive cancer and as she is undergoing treatment she can’t be out in public places due to infection. Having this restaurant standard meal yesterday makes things feel more normal and seeing my mom enjoy herself and her food meant so much to me. We will certainly be back. Thankyou 😊
