Shiraz Restaurant

Four of us visited shiraz for dinner and iftar. We absolutely loved all the dishes. Perfect taste, perfect portion size and quality. I visited this restaurant about a decade ago and I loved the taste. About 10 years later, I still love it.

First time trying Persian food and we decided to go here after seeing good reviews, and this place didn't disappoint! The workers are really nice too, good experience and would recommend. The place is quite small though so a little crowded but not too bad. I don't usually like baklava but I liked it from here! Really enjoyed the saffron ice cream too. My family enjoyed the rice pudding as well.

Amazing place, food is beautifully prepared, presented ,and amazing flavour, the mix grill platter is to die for . Also comes with 2 massive plates of beautiful Persian rice. The faloodoh was amazing, was given rice pudding as it was complementary and lovely.

Came here almost 10 years later.. quality of food has not dropped.. freshly made.. friendly and polite staff.. clean.. remember the first time I came here. I thought it was the best place i had eaten.. and now I would say it again.. mix grill was really good.. had rice and chips to go with it.. and desserts loved them also.. The only issue is parking..

The food is amazing here, large portions, fresh, really delicious. The staff were very nice and friendly. We lost something while we were there and the staff were really helpful in trying to help us find it before we left.
Will definitely be back!

Authentic Iranian restaurant, the food is freshly made and the portions are decent. Food is made to perfection! The staff are very polite and offer excellent service.
There’s a soft oriental music playing in the background, and they offer complimentary sweet.

We went in as a family of 6 last week and the service and food was amazing. Honey was an amazing hostess she was very hospitable and kind, she recommended some great dishes. The rice pudding was delicious (and I am someone who hates rice pudding). I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This is by far the best Persian restaurant in the UK. It is also better than many in Iran itself. You get what you pay for, definitely needs to be experienced if you're looking for an authentic taste of Persia. The owner clearly has a meticulous vetting process with his suppliers and only gets the best money can buy. Then you have the generous portions and the excellent cooking of the meats which is some of the best barbecued lamb I've ever tasted. I really can't fault this place.

Authentic Persian food, good menue to choose from, a bit pricy and maybe not the best koobideh in town. Rest is fantastic.

Small, welcoming restaurant with high quality, tasty food and excellent staff and service.

Would highly recommend the grilled menu as the meats tasted amazing with great portion sizes.

Received complementary traditional rice pudding for afters which tasted absolutely lovely.

All staff including chefs and waiters/waitresses were really helpful and even went out of their way to help look for an expensive item which had been misplaced during our visit.

Would not hesitate to eat/spend here again!

Highly recommended. Went here for iftar, group of 7. Great food, good service. Everyone really enjoyed. It was really quite busy, as the restaurant has limited space, but the staff managed to take good care of everyone.

Exceptional food, fast, friendly service. Recommend the mix grill, a large portion of freshly cooked meats! Cozy, warm atmosphere inside with aromas from the opwn kitchen. Delicious tea and sweet rice dessert.

Very delicious Iranian food, I like the portion size which is enough for 1.5 persons, the staff were nice and friendly with customers.
Regarding the prices I believe it is fair compared with the quality ( card and cash are accepted).

The parking here is an issue, not easy to find.

Food is amazing, one of the best restaurants in birmingham by far.
Service is great too, the staff is very attentive and make you feel welcome.
Atmosphere was a bit of a miss for me, I love the ambiance and enjoyed myself but the restaurant is incredibly crowded. I couldn't move to my left/right without hitting other customers. I also had nowhere to put my bag/coat/scarf which isn't ideal. I can't say I was comfortable enough to come back, I'll probably just order their food online instead.

Family run Persian Restaurant with amazing authentic food. Very friendly service and family friendly environment. Quality food cooked to perfection, that will tantalize your taste buds. You'll definitely come back for more. But do book ahead, the word is out about this place so it has gotten busier each time I go there.

I don't think you can call this Birmingham's hidden gem anymore. Shiraz has easily achieved legendary status. Prices have gone up over the last few years but the the quality of the food is incredible. The service is always homely and attentive and its the best Koobideh I've tasted. If you haven't already you must try the food from this lovely family run business.
