My dining experience at Quod Restaurant in Oxford left me utterly impressed and satisfied. Located in the heart of the city, Quod offers an exceptional culinary journey coupled with a delightful ambiance that ensures a memorable evening. One of the most remarkable aspects of my visit was the food itself. From the succulent seafood starters to the perfectly cooked mains, every bite was a testament to the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The ambiance of Quod further enhances the dining experience. The restaurant's elegant interior is tastefully decorated, creating a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere. Soft lighting and comfortable seating arrangements contribute to a relaxed and intimate setting. Despite not having made a reservation, my colleagues and I were warmly welcomed and promptly seated. The staff was courteous and attentive throughout the evening, ensuring that we had everything we needed to fully enjoy our dining experience. Overall, the restaurant is highly recommended.

Quod last night was a real buzzy place. We came to Oxford to meet with some friends and perfect place to have a meal. Friendly servers and food was wholesome. A very good trip for a good meal with family and friends. The scallops and prawn gratin was exceptional as was my tagliatelle with pork. Decent size portions too. The toilets were clean as well which is always a good sign.

We went here the day before Christmas Eve, and everything was perfect. The food, the service, the atmosphere. One of the best restaurant experiences i've ever had.

Dined here on a Sunday evening and it was perfect. The attention to detail was everything you expect for a restrauent and more! Beautiful interior and atmosphere. Service was very good and warmly. Food was even better. Very tasty main dishes, full of flavour and taste. Very enjoyable experience, will be going there when visiting oxford.

I had something a bit pedestrian but it was very well executed: Their cheeseburger with bacon was really good! The portion size was excellent...I couldn't finish my meal.

We visited Quod for breakfast this morning whilst on a trip to Oxford. Literally one of the best English breakfasts I've ever had, it was gorgeous. My wife had Eggs Florentine and that was gorgeous too - quality ingredients. The staff were amazing. I would highly recommend!!

We were staying at the hotel and decided to eat at the restaurant. They were accommodating us with a baby, very friendly staff. Food was decent for the price.

I was in the red room. I find the main restaurant can be a little noisy, so really liked this. I had haddock risotto and sea bream. The dishes were excellent. Cooked extremely well. The risotto was creamy but not sickly. The bream skin crispy, the fish firm but not dry. I finished with Earl Gray tea. Service can be a little slow but is friendly and professional.

Sunday Roast is to die for. The basil daiquiri is one of the best drinks I’ve ever had and I’m not a big drinker. Luca, my waiter was so nice and had great recommendations. I originally booked a different Sunday roast spot but this place was recommended to me because of the cute outdoor area. I was supposed to sit inside but when I asked for an outdoor table they made it happen even though it was booked up. All the meat is local which I love. 10/10 would recommended.

Excellent food and great service.
Upon our arrival, we were asked whether we wanted to sit in a more central (spacious) area, or whether we preferred a table in a quieter area. As the latter didn't appeal to us because the (small) table (seemingly more suited for single guests) was next to a busy passageway for the staff, where we didn't think we could get comfortable, we opted for the former. Unfortunately, there was a large gathering at the next table, which turned out to be very noisy.
Other than that, the service was great and the food absolutely delicious! I also liked the twist with the roasted bone marrow, which I have never seen before.
Very central location and thus very convenient. The restaurant also sports a nice terrace, although unfortunately we didn't get to put that to the test, as the weather was too cool to eat outside. Maybe next time!

We visit Oxford annually for a few nights at a time and always have a meal here. It has a lovely ambience (soft music, no rowdy customers or noise going on), soft lighting (of an evening) and good service. The food is always wonderful. I can't fault it at all. All the dishes we've tried have been lovely, cocktails nice too and deserts cooked properly. A trip to Oxford isn't complete without a meal here. Highly recommended.

We held our wedding reception dinner in the Quod Gallery Room and it was just perfect. The staff on the evening of the wedding were so helpful, professional, kind, and had so much attention to detail. Our guests were taken care of and so were we. The communication leading up the wedding was phenomenal. We live in America and so planning a wedding overseas was an added layer of challenge but the Event staff at Quod answered my (many) questions with professionalism and kindness. I can't thank Ivana, Maria, and Angela enough for their patience and helpfulness! The food was fantastic, the price was completely reasonable, and their service was impeccable. Thank you all so much!

Wonderful hotel restaurant in Oxford with full bar and table seating. Outdoor seating is also available though not available in winter. Fresh salads, soups, warm bread and mains they offer local fish and chips from time to time. Be sure to check board for their specials.

We discovered this place in Oxford while we are looking for a pub with old, wooden, sticky tables to have a few beers but luckily found this elite place with clean tables and friendly staff. They have also a back garden terrace. We had our drinks and really enjoyed a good time. I tried blondie, it was a tasty, aromatic lager. I liked the atmosphere, the interior design, the place of the bar on the center, paintings on the wall.

We loved our time at Quod. The wait staff was great, very friendly and helpful. We ordered Afternoon Tea. It was wonderful!

Went with my family and had the most lovely waitress accommodate our every need! The food was also delightful for a birthday meal! Definitely recommend for any occasion!

We got the lunch set menu which was around £18 per person for 2 courses. The slow cooked pork belly was soft and tender while the cod karahi was flavourful and fragrant.

Very good value for what you get and the outdoor terrace seating was a plus!
