Typical British pub with great ambience. We came early and had a Sunday Roast. Good value for money and friendly service!

An excellent place to eat and drink. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the staff are amazing. The food is definitely 5 star.

We were in a hurry, but had no worries, as the food was really quick and fantastic. The girls Sharon and Debbie were great and very helpful. Could recommend to anyone and will definitely come back. Eaton mess is astounding ! !

Today didn't go quite as planned! A friend spent 5 hours on her back in agony awaiting the ambulance to arrive!
Faye the manager went above and beyond and stayed late till the crew arrived and was very attentive, kind and caring! We can't thank you enough Faye and your staff, you looked after us and our friend so well! We will be back soon! A massive thank you once again! One of the most professional managers I've seen anywhere in a long time, but also a genuinely caring person! Thank you.

We came for a late lunch and it was a really great experience! Was a great atmosphere, nice and chilled, seating outside with heater - the food was beautiful! We had amazing service from Luke, nothing was too much bother for him, he also recognised my partners plate looked bare (fussy eater and took a lot of the extras off) and offered additional options for him. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for a lovely lunch!

Very cozy and calm place, perfect for a nice evening or small gathering. Food is delicious, had burgers , very tasty and filling.
Staff are really nice as well.
Order and pay from table option is available.

Great lunch as always. Such a lovely surprise to see Faye back at work. Thank you to all the staff who are always so helpful.

The extractor fan in the kitchen is broken atm, so some of the foods, including grilled stuff e.g.burgers, bacon, etc are not available. but still the seabass grill was good enough :) (fyi, fish and chips are available)

Simple no nonsense food and value for money. I often visit The Britannia in Oxford. Often have brilliant specials.

Had a lovely meal here with family, service were very friendly and accommodating of our various allergens.

Came in for lunch with my family and was amazed by the service and quality of food, we were served by Debbie who displayed incredible service and hospitality for the duration of our stay.

Had a lovely meal , faye and all staff very Friendly made to feel welcome. Look forward to our next visit.

Lovely surroundings good food and good service. Staff were friendly and efficient and the food arrived promptly. Two vegetarian mains and 2 drinks came to £22. Well worth the spend. A couple of weeks ago I spent £30 at Beefeater for more or less the same and that was awful. Beer garden is great and has umbrellas if too sunny. Well worth and very happy with the experience

First time hear .was pleasantly surprised had too courses for about £11.50 .I had prawn cocktail to start and a roast for main was so nice and the portion was so generous .me and my fiance now come hear atleast once a week now .we love it
