Gorgeous pub serving a good range of gluten-free pub meals, including indulgent puddings.
Highly recommend the fish and chips and sticky toffee pud.
While the place was busy, the service was also excellent.

Lovely gastropub with great food and friendly, attentive service. It's nicely set out and very comfortable inside, and there are nice outdoor seating areas for sunnier days.
They have a childrens menu and there is a park with a small playground accessible from the back of the car park for them burn off some energy after a meal!

Visited yesterday evening, the atmosphere was lively as usual. Ordered two starters and two mains, the Fish & Chips and the Steak Burger, both were absolutely delicious. The fish was so fresh and perfectly cooked, the burger really juicy. There were a nice selection of ales and wines. Service was good, nice friendly staff including the barman who was very attentive.

The building itself is just lovely, very traditional Victorian style with lots of antiquities, books and paintings dotted around. The facilities are immacculate.

There are various areas within, dining room, two bar areas (one clearly dog friendly), two little snugs, one with an open fire (which was wonderful last night), an orangery type building to the back with lots of glass. The outside beer garden offers many tables including an undercover area and of course their Brunning & Price signature red tractor tucked in the corner. A wonderful place to visit.

We were having lunch with our friends today, and we had a great time.

The service was spot on, and food was very good, served hot. As it is the festive season, the place was packed and very busy.

We had the 3 course Christmas menu, and we were all full to the brim.

Definitely recommend the Grosvenor Arms in Alford.

We always enjoy Brunning and Price establishments, and whilst it has been many many years since we were last in the Grosvenor, today the food was exceptional.
We started with black pudding and whipped goats cheese. Followed by kedgeree and linguine. I finished with a tiramisu. All were delicious.

We've been coming here for many years, and it's always been fantastic. The food is always and still remains wonderful. The portions are big, and the choice of starters and nibbles are so delicious. It's always a hard one to pick as having a main course. Your eyes can get bigger than the belly. ( Dont get me started in the puddings).
The Sunday roasts were gorgeous 😍 and plenty, and I love the fact that they ask if you would like extra gravy when you are served.
On Sundays, they are busy, so please be patient. Relax, enjoy.
Thank you for another wonderful weekend. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and we will definitely be coming again..

We were a party of 20 people to celebrate an 80th birthday. The lady who looked after us was so calm, accommodating and ensure the whole party’s needs were met. Wonderful service which added to the occasion; thanks to all the staff involved.

A group of us booked a table for new Years Eve 2023/4 & to also celebrate my Birthday. Often the food at this time of year is rushed, cold or not as good as usual.
Justin and his crew provided a brilliant meal, tasty, hot and plentiful with the usual pleasant staff providing a brilliant service. The band was fantastic with everyone enjoying a wonderful evening!
Wishing everyone at the pub a very happy and healthy 2024 see you again very soon. THANK YOU

We recently had lunch at the Grosvenor Arms for the first time in years. The food, service, and atmosphere was great. I can't think of a way that it could have been improved.

We had the Lamb keema shepherds pie and Braised shoulder of lamb followed by two mini puddings (Tiramasu and Mini sticky toffee pudding) and coffee. The food was all excellent and the service from Steph was great.

Friday lunchtime got quite busy but not too noisy and created a nice atmosphere. There's plenty of room between tables so you don't feel on top of one another.

With a great menu, great service, and loads of parking, we'll be heading back here soon.

Food is lovely as were the staff. Classy yet not a pretentious restaurant.
Had to wait a long time for dessert so when the bill came they knocked the price off. Not many places would do that and it was much appreciated.

Great fish and chips and an excellent selection of real ale. My wife had fishcakes and loved them. Really good food, warm welcome, speedy and efficient service, and all in a lovely building. Recommended.

We had a great experience eating here recently. The menu is imaginative and has something for everyone; there were vegetarian and gluten-free options and the service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

Our table booking hadn't been registered, but we were accommodated anyway. All four of us enjoyed our food, and the service was exemplary. It was busy, but not overwhelming, and we were able to enjoy a delicious meal in relaxing surroundings.

A lovely setting for lunch or dinner, it has very good food at standard prices. You can get light bites or a full meal. Service was good and pleasant, just not outstanding. I would certainly go here again! Our bill total included drinks, so the cost per person was just slightly higher.
