B&Q Hinckley

I visited this store for the first time today. Oh my goodness, it was such a great experience. Daniel was the one who assisted me and I spent over an hour choosing a lot of items. I purchased paints, wall coverings, an extractor fan, ductwork, kitchen cabinetry, and so many other items. He was not irritated until I had completed my shopping. At last, he loaded the items into my car. Genuinely lovely; I adore him...Thank you B & Q Hinckley .. See you soon

Wonderful store with extremely helpful staff. I bought wall paper and forgot to check the batch codes, the lady on the check out saw I had 3 different batches. Thanks to her I was able to correct my error.
I was also looking for some wall stencils, and a young employee working near the paints was able to direct me to the location.

As B&Q goes the Hinckley store is normally well stocked with pleasant helpful staff. Can't say fairer than that. Visited many times and will again in the future.

Full marks to Harrison who loaded my trolley and went an extra mile to help me. Thank you so much. Last week Nate did the same. Great guys. You're a credit to the company.

Alltwen staff are very helpful and take you where you want to be and not just saying "it's over there "
The garden centre could do with a bit of TLC, and the plants are on the expensive side.
On the whole, the main store is packed with every DIY tool a person could want. They also sell doors, windows, baths and sinks. They sell complete kitchens and bathrooms and everything else you need for your DIY project.

Needed a phone charge lead and a cigarette lighter plug in a hurry. Staff were ultra helpfull. Stopped what they were doing and took me on a quick tour to the shelf. All this while on an emergency call and only 2% battery life..
Staff just brilliant.

Compared to my local B&Q at Wigston this store was better stocked, better organised and had a much cleaner feel.
Staff were so polite and helpful.
I honestly didn't mind the extra distance for the items I required.

Had what I needed in store. I needed to ask for directions twice. I found someone to ask quite easily and they were approachable, friendly and efficient. There was a bit of a queue at the till but it was quickly spotted and another till was opened.
In my experience today this is a very well managed store with great staff.

Always has what I need. Nice and spacious even when the car parks full. Nice garden area outside which is reasonably priced against the local places. So much paint for everything needed! Home section is super gorgeous

Great shop. Needed a grouting system for a local job as I forgot mine. 10mins exactly what I needed .

Very good place for all your hardware needs. Prices are competitive and choice is extensive. Staff helpful and friendly too.

I like the store a lot. You can find pretty much everything you need at reasonable price.
For example the pot of magnolia paint. I needed just a little for some quick touch ups not a big jug. If they don't have the colour you are after, they can mix it for you and will cost only 3 pounds.
Staff is friendly and willing to help and you have parking available.

Good visit today. Needed plants and advice about them. Friendly, knowledgeable staff were able to help. I also enquired about a refund for Valspar paint even though it says non-refundable on the lid (as mixed to preference) because the colour was nothing like what it should be. The member of staff had a word with the manager and I was able to bring the paint back in for a refund. The paint was premium so over £90 for 10 litres.

Nice store, staff are friendly, easy to get heavy products either in the home and garden, and pricing is good. Plenty of parking spots to choose from as well.

Helpful chap as I went in who sprayed my trolley - really cheerful.
Found everything I wanted - good floor markings, shame some people aren't intelligent enough to follow them

Brilliant !! We are always there , every weekend on the hunt for something to buy for the house . And when you've done there , there is an Aldi across the road for a little food treat 😅😊

We entered the covid aware store. The security guard ensured masks were worn and all sanitized their hands. We went to buy door handles. We required 7 they had four. A friendly member of staff advised the stock levels of nearby stores. We visited one to obtain the missing items. We felt safe in this covid aware store and would use again - unlike a nearby store who had lost oue trade

Good range of stuff you get anything from wood, windows, locks,door locks, window handles e.t.c they have alot more stuff then that they also have power tools
