We have recently moved into our new house, rented from Reeds Rains. I cannot thank the team in Preston enough they have been superb, from the initial viewing to the excellent support of Lucy through the paperwork and handover process. Superb team. :)

Initially I had 3 agencies value my property and Jake was the only one who showed real enthusiasm, gave us plenty of time to explain his decision on the value of the property and what strategy he would use to sell. Reeds Rains was fantastic throughout my rental application. Rebecca and especially Lucy were awesome and accommodating throughout. I didn’t end up going through with the tenancy in the end however Lucy was still very helpful with me at the end.

I noted several favourable reviews for Rebecca Ryding and Lucy Gardener so I thought I would add my comments also. Rebecca and Lucy were incredibly helpful when I found that 2 tenants were leaving my 2 properties and I needed to get new tenants in as swiftly as possible. Rebecca and Lucy energetically showed prospective tenants the two properties and within a very short space of time new tenants moved in.There were a few teething troubles but Rebecca and Lucy really went the extra mile in providing me with advice and help in resolving the problems. This additional service was especially helpful to me as a Non- Resident Landlord. It is not easy to find reliable tradesmen ftom 3500 kms away from Preston.

I simply had to leave this review of our experience so far with Reeds Rains and in particular Jake. Moving from one estate agent to another is always a daunting thought and given the previous shambolic experience we were already on edge.
Jake is a credit to the business, from the initial contact, through to the valuation appointment he was professional and courteous. He is always is constant contact, providing updates were possible and steps regarding the next processes.

The seller is an elderly family member and I can't thank him enough for being so understanding and taking the time to go through all the details, more times than once if needed.

We are looking forward to continuing to work closely with Jake throughout this entire process and I'm confident that he will make the remaining part of the journey seamless and stress free.

Lucy was very helpful during my move into my new house, Lucy helped and made the process very smooth transition

Initially was talking to Aimee about suitable rental properties near Fulwood and was quickly offered two viewings, both with a very kind man who gave us lots of information about the properties. We have decided to apply for one of the properties we viewed and all the staff couldn't be more helpful with the process. We would definitely recommend this company.

Edit from 30/07/2023: I now really really recommend using Reeds Rains Estate Agents! We finally made the move from Cornwall to Preston, however, the traffic was terrible and it turned into an 8 hour car journey, instead of 4. Although it was outside of the office opening hours (19:30), Lucy met us outside of our new home to give us the keys and we couldn't be more thankful. A fantastic experience!

Gareth Chadwick of the property management team sorted me right out. I moved out my flat a day late so the Reeds Rains team had been pursuing me for a day of rent.

I'd been chasing my landlord for some money for my curtains that I left behind. Ugly accusations were made of me that were related to the previous tenant (Take lots of pictures when you move in).

I thought great the landlord can have the curtains instead of the day of rent. Everyone will be happyish. Landlord didn't like that idea, I was like fine give me curtains back and I'll pay the day of rent. He didn't like that idea either.

In steps Gareth, queries the accusations of damage and proves my innocence. Miraculously gets everyone to see sense and returns my full deposit in exchange for the curtains to cover the day of rent.

Rebecca is amazing. She has been so accommodating and understanding for me for this move. The move has been smooth with no stress. Rebecca has gone out of her way to relieve any stressors I have had. She has even made exceptions taking into consideration my personal circumstances. She’s been so helpful and kind. She is also very good at communicating quickly.
