The Plungington Hotel

The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were so nice and made a great service. I attended for Father’s Day and on a Sunday for drinks with friends. The garden is great for a drink on a summers evening. Overall a fantastic place to eat and drink.

Amazing!!! We attended this weekend, Lois looked after our party for a football evening for our children. Lois hired in a bouncy castle, did a BBQ and reserved our seats.

The lads played football for 8 hours straight on the huge grass area, football nets included. Thanks for having us, everyone commented on what a great spot you have out back, perfect for kids.

Nice relaxing atmosphere. Food was great. Definitely will be going again

Great garden, Staff brought deck chairs and tables out. Nice food, I had pulled pork, served in crusty sourdough bread bun from the specials menu. It was lovely. My friend had the prawn skewers. They looked amazing, ideal for a low calorie but very tasty meal. Felt a bit like we were on holiday. Staff were kind. Only thing is they stop serving food between 14.30 & 17.00.... Something to remember as very nearly missed it.

Nice surroundings, menus is a bit different, and food was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented.
Lovely sheltered walled garden area, with a nice open but roofed area if it's a bit cooler.
I had a pint of Plungington Bitter. And very nice it was too!
Staff, attentive, but not loitering, friendly and helpful.
Looking forward to the Gin extravaganza!
Really enjoyed our visit, we will be back.

A Great British pub for sure. Every effort made to offer a vast selection of drinks for everyone, and delicious real food. Super atmosphere whenever you go. A definite pleaser.

Had my 60th here last night. Absolutely brilliant. I went for the pies and pickles option. Totally delicious and excellent value for money. The room looked lovely and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Made turning 60 a pleasure apart from the hangover!

This place getting back to its best, excellent hosts, good beers. Hope that the locals get behind them and make it once again the best pub in Preston. Good luck Louis. Let's get this place rocking again

Such a better pub since the new management last year (maybe year before!?). Lovely staff who are friendly and willing to help with anything. Good selection of drinks with good prices. Nice food and again decent prices.

Great food, friendly staff too. Really improved since the refit. Good selection of beers, recommend the cheese and caramelised onion pie!

Good choice of ales. At quiet times could do with checking if any customers need serving though, waited 5minz 4 someone 2 come through from the 'best' side. Worth a visit though. Never tried the food so can't comment on that.

Beautiful little gem in Preston. The place looks beautiful, the drink selection is great. The food, oh god the food!!!!! Absolutely gorgeous food. The beer garden is second to none 💚 fab place

Friendly welcoming staff, my Dad and myself decided to try a couple of drinks, as the local community fought hard to keep this great pub open, we,ll definitely be back

Great public house always feel welcome and they keep it clean and plenty of variety to choose from with food and beer. Feels nice n cozy with the Christmas decorations and real fire.
