As usual, an unplanned visit to a great find!!
A small group of us went to a pub to watch the rugby, only to be told it wasn't going to be shown. So, in desperation we started to look for somewhere else.
We stumbled across the Cherry. And, thank goodness we did. We walked in from the Mile End Road and straight away we were greeted by Becky. She assured us that she would have the rugby on and if we wanted she would show the football too. Perfect!;
The decor is fun and funky - dark wood, colourful tables, fairy lights, pool table. There is a great choice of beers including 0%! We ate pizza, thanks to Jamie the chef. The pizzas are delicious and a really good selection. The caramelised onions add a special something to the salami, thin crust and very very tasty. Great atmosphere, not crowded, and a good mix of people. I highly recommend the Cherry 🍒. We spent a good few hours there and weren't hurried out! I'd definitely go back there. Fab atmosphere, friendly and comfortable!

Can confirm after two separate samplings: the Pizzas are great!!
It was encouraging to see more people using the venue too.

Good to see The Cherry quite well populated. Must make a date to check out the delicious-looking pizzas.

I've been visiting various iterations of this pub (née The New Globe) for decades and at long last the decor and ambiance match expectations. Professional friendly staff effortlessly serve a goodly range of drinks at reasonable prices, and I'm still surprised there aren't more students from the nearby Queen Mary University of London.

We had our works dinner drinks there after a work even not to far from the pub. The staff were extremely hospitable behind the bar. I had the Cherry cocktail what a delicious drink! Loved it!!!
The pizzas were thin crust and simply delicious, big up to the chef! We had booked the Karaoke too and they accommodated us and we had one of the best nights ever! It was just so much fun, so thanks soooo much we will see you again next year hopeful!ly!

A nice new (I think) addition to Mile End. The staff are great and a fairly reasonable price. We went here because the telly was blaring in the Rusty. Glad we tried it out. We'll be back.

It has a great quiz night. Lots of students and young people. But as an older Man I was made to feel very welcome. The quiz host and staff are great.

My favourite pub! The atmosphere is great and all the bar staff are nice, Becky makes a really good cocktail too.

We really liked the place the mushroom pizza was amazing and it wasn’t too heavy workers there were super kind and nice and they have events going on some days we will definitely go again

Such a great bar to spend the evening. The food is amazing. The best part is the staff and how passionate about their drinks they are - they all have a brilliant knowledge of the drinks available, how they might suit your taste and / or mood, and what they'd recommend for you personally.

Definitely recommend, the vibes are immaculate.

Recently stayed at The cherry and honestly it was fantastic! What a gem of a place and so convenient for getting pretty much everywhere you need to.

The staff were super friendly and helpful and the drinks were amazing! I definitely recommend the Italian margarita! We also had food there and there was a great choice to be had. Again the staff were great at checking a few allergies and recommending items too. The pub is really chilled out and had cracking music - I cannot recommend The Cherry enough!

The rooms we stayed in were really clean and welcoming and had everything we could need for a quick stay over. The bed was an absolute dream and don't get me started on the shower. Everything we could need for a stay in London.

I highly recommend staying at The Cherry, you won't be disappointed in either your room or the pub.

My room was very small, but renovated, clean, with a very modern shower and toilet.
The underground was about 150 metres away and buses were right at the door.
It's ideal for people who are all day out and don't mind a tiny room.
It's great value for the price and very well located.

the staff is amazing and so kind, me and my friends love playing pool there and enjoy the food

Used the hotel here. Great value for money. Amazing little pub too. Good pizza. Nice staff. Brilliant standard of rooms for the price - stupendous shower!! Awesome air con. Great towels and bedding. Absolutely deffo staying here again next time I have a gig in London. Good location. Easy to get to hyde park and then back to Paddington. 1 min walk from hotel to tube.

Perfect location, very short walk to nearest Underground station. Very friendly staff, great selection of drinks. The homemade pizza is very highly recommended. The guestrooms are very clean & welcoming.

They always have sporting events on and even had the queens funeral on - great spot to hang out.

A cosy and fun pub with a pool table. Great pizza, reasonably prices drinks. The rooms are nice too, clean and good value for money for the area.
