I was recommended to Abbeyfield Insurance via my Car club. I was dealt with by an extremely friendly lady called Jayne. She was enthusiastic and very helpful throughout the whole process. I have saved money and would recommend Abbeyfield in the future to my classic car enthusiast friends.

I took out insurance with Abbeyfields back in June for my Ford Mondeo, after they were highly recommended by several friends of mine. Stuart was a delight to deal with and was very professional. He took down all my details and requirements and came back to me swiftly with a very competitive quote. Far better than the renewal quote I had from my previous insurance company. Makes a huge difference to speak to a human being again when arranging car insurance. I rang two or three times and got answered within 4 or 5 rings by a human. WOW!! Once I started my quote with Stuart, he was available to speak to each time I called. He seemed to know what he was talking about and made the process of insuring a classic and some daily drivers very easy. No hard sell, no pressure, just a great price and flexibility of insurance across all the vehicles. I wanted agreed value on the classic and faffed about getting quotes from 4 other providers only one of which was cheaper but they had all the usual AI bots, touch tone menus that go on forever and such like. Stuart made Abbeyfields setup totally painless. Did I mention a great price? That was very satisfying, and surprising given that I didn't have to battle with all the obstructive automatons and such like.

Can't speak for claims yet, and hopefully will never need to.

I have just discovered this classic car insurance company and I'm glad I did. I am able to insure my 2 classic vehicles plus get breakdown cover for these and my everyday car on a multi-vehicle breakdown policy, with agreed valuation and different annual mileages, for a lot less than I've been paying. Even better is that Abbeyfield are quick and easy to contact and deal with. My contact is Jayne and she knows her stuff and deals with everything in a personal and friendly way. I feel confident that if I have any queries or claims (fingers crossed not!) they will be handled professionally and effectively. A refreshingly pleasant company to deal with and I've saved money as well, which is important when you are retired.

Not only did he quote for insurance for my classic car, he also took the time to explore options for my new electric one too! Came back with a very competitive quote. I really like the personal 'account manager' approach, taking the time to understand your needs meaning you're confident that the cover is exactly tailored to your car and circumstances. Thoroughly recommend.

Changing my classic car insurance to Abbeyfields, was a good decision. Stuart was very helpful, and clearly very knowledgeable about the product, and classic cars. It was a refreshing experience to talk to someone like Stuart, rather than the usual insurance call centre. My previous insurers noted my Cortina saloon as an estate car, and this could not be changed, as there was apparently a glitch in their system.

I was recommended to contact Jayne from someone who has had their cars insured with Jayne for over 10 years. I wished that I had contacted Jayne earlier as I had a mixture of classic and new age cars with different insurance companies all of which were a bit of a nightmare to manage. Consolidating all the cars and having someone as helpful as Jayne answer all my numerous emails made sense and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone else, I just wish I had got in touch with her earlier.
