Solent Hotel & Spa

An unexpected visit as my usual hotel was booked. I often visit the area for work and always stay in the same place but I shall be looking to book here in future. Nicely presented rooms, comfortable and quiet. Some nice small touches such as milk and water refills, down pillows and very comfortable. Staff were very polite and helpful. I didn’t dine on the evening in the restaurant but the breakfast was very good. Clean and quiet throughout with a relaxed atmosphere. No complaints, great stay, exactly what was needed after a tiring day of travel. The only negative thing was I only stayed for one evening.

I stayed at the Solent Spa hotel last week, whilst on a training course nearby.
A nice, comfortable, and spotlessly clean room
The restaurant and bar were both very good, too but the best part of the hotel is their staff.
Nothing appeared to be too much trouble and they were unfailingly helpful, friendly and polite. A real credit to the hotel.
The swimming pool was an added bonus, and I was able to swim before breakfast each morning.

Me and my partner had a spa day here, from start to finish it was perfect. The staff were lovely! We used the pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. All spotless!

We then had our treatments. Jo was fantastic and very knowledgeable! The whole experience was absolutely incredible!

We then had afternoon tea. Well, this was just delicious. It was a festive theme with generous portions of sarnies and sweet treats.

We came away feeling very relaxed and with big smiles on our faces.

The staff here deserve credit, they have done your hotel proud! They look after us from start to finish!

Had a spa treatment by Jo today and it was lovely!! Jo was very welcoming, happy and made me feel at ease. Her advice and knowledge after the massage was also great. Will definitely try and book a massage in with Jo again :)

I came here for a Saturday stay. Was very happy with the entrance and welcoming of the staff. The atmosphere was very Christmassy. The room was slightly oustdated but comfortable. The pool was amazing, although was quite busy at times. We went in the morning and had the pool to our selves at times. The facilities were clean and provided us with a towel. When I booked the room however, I had to then pay £20 for the pool for two people, which I thought was included in the price… The breakfast had many options, however think the pancakes were average. The hot chocolate wasn’t amazing either. Overall very nice location, and very closed to a lovely shopping centre. Would recommend for a weekend stay.

Thank you for making our 42nd wedding anniversary such a wonderful experience. Warm friendly staff, helpful and knowledgeable which made our stay so memorable for all the right reasons. Our warm was lovely, everything that you would require for a comfortable stay and the anniversary gifts were received and appreciated by ourselves. There wasn't anything within our stay to even consider complaining about whatsoever. The service was spot on whether it was from the cleaning staff to the the restaurant waiters.
We have been here before so knew what to expect location wise (just off a very busy main junction A27/M27 you don't notice it while in the hotel) and although our last visit was many years ago, I don't think that we will be leaving it as long to return again.

Really enjoyed our stay here, the food was very tasty. All staff were very helpful, and my message with Megan was fantastic 👏 p.s Breakfast in bed was a winner. Rolls were divine 😋

Nice four poster bed, room very poorly lit.
Nice comfy bed, couple of chairs and a desk.
Tv with free view.
Tea and coffee making facilities with milk and water down the corridor and also a fridge in the room.
Bathroom nice and bright with a shower over bath, didn’t use it though.

This venue is great for Weddings, Christmas parties and general events. The staff are so friendly! Invite Events have been a supplier for over 4 years and have always felt welcome. The Hotel has so much to offer and very close to Whiteley which offers lots of entertainment, food and great range of shops.

The hotel hosted my daughters and her partners wedding day.
What an amazing day we had. All the staff were amazing and the whole day was managed perfectly.
These guys deliver on their promises and nothing was to much trouble. Think about the best wedding day you could have and then live it.

This was our second visit to Solent Hotel and Spa, and yet again we had a lovely stay - the hotel itself is comfy and the rooms are oretty generous, the staff are all really helpful and the facilities are excellent.
We will almost certainly be back.

Breakfast best we've had. Shower temperature and power perfect. WiFi great. Pool good size for a hotel and well run. Details don't right. Our room had tired decor here or there but nothing that bothered us. Bed Good. Sofa bed not as comfy, but for lightweight child so did not bother us. Service Great.

The staff were wonderful - friendly and fun. Special mention for Kirsten and Louise in the restaurant in the evening and at breakfast. Enjoyed the outside FYR experience - a great stay throughout. Very comfortable room and a great location for attending the Boat Show. Have stayed at a few of the Thwaites hotels and they never disappoint.

Lovely dog friendly hotel. Spacious rooms and comfy bed, even the dog had a comfy bed!

Restaurant was bright and pleasant, food was good.

This was our fourth spa break here and it never fails to amaze us of the great service, food, spa, treatments and our room. We come away feeling so relaxed and happy.

Sadly I cannot talk about the rooms here as I didin't stay BUT I can talk about the high level of service from the staff at an event on Friday 1st September. I was privileged to be asked to MC the Rainbow Centre's Masquerade Ball. The staff were brilliant especially in accommodating our 'fluid' timetable. Love & Respect XXX

We had a lovely weekend at the hotel, for our anniversary. The room was really good and had some thoughtful touches. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space.
The staff went out if their way to make our anniversary special, with lots of personal touches. They were also very friendly.
We enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna, hot tub and steam room. Very relaxing.

Second year staying here, rooms are really big even with 2 adults and 3 children, pool is great for the kids and the little robes and welcome pack for the children is a nice touch. I would welcome booking direct with the hotel rather than using a booking site.

My wife and i came here for a two day Spa break and very much enjoyed ourselves. Staff were welcoming and attentive without being invasive.

Spa treatments were very relaxing and just what we needed (thank you Hazel and Ebony).

Spa facilities were clean and seemed well maintained. Between us we used everything except the outdoor hottub (which I think is chargeable).
